You have to wonder. After all, it might be "offensive" and a sign of "intolerance" to an atheist who's trying to re-write America's founding roots: RELIGION.

Mainly Judeo- Christian values too.

I mean, God forbid a Christmas Tree is displayed in a shopping mall. Or a Nativity Scence is displayed on someone's front lawn.

People (Mainly liberals) show much "tolerance" for Islam.

What about Christmas? Why are they trying to have a war on Christmas?

Actually, it's a pretty easy answer.

By the way, here's A FUNNY COMEDY VIDEO that both Conservatives and Liberals should enjoy.

all human beings. each and every physique. Do you placed up a Christmas tree? Pagan image. Do you beautify your place, play Christmas songs, purchase delivers? All fo those issues secularize Christmas. of path, if businesses had to de-secularize Christmas, they could open their shops and supply out loose stuff. as a replace of spending hundreds of thousands of greenbacks on merchandising, they could donate the money to the unfavorable. they does no longer stress their workers to paintings from Christmas eve till New Years day. So your concepts above, whilst ignorant on their face, have a hoop of reality. And the respond on your question is not one of the above. the respond is colossal company.

At least one person got a chance to celebrate it early this year.
I'm talking about Condi Rice. She recently visited the Church of the Nativity this week. No one else can go there cause the Palestinian nut cases make it too dangerous to go with out an armed escort. We never ever had this problem when Israel was in control of Bethlehem.

I often wonder exactly who is offended at displays about Christmas. I know a lot of Liberals, and none are happy about eliminating "Christmas" from our vocabulary and introducing the "holiday" season instead. It is stupid and dissrespectful to those who celebrate Christmas, and I for one, am sick of having to cater to everyone else's wants. What about my beliefs? Don't they count anymore?

*GASP* ...you said the "C" word! reported! ...heheh
- i never understood how a person with no religion can be so easily (and ridiculously) offended by religious sentiment. it's literally being 'offended by nothing' - if they truly had no 'faith', no 'belief', such things would be meaningless & innoffensive -

No. Just because a store says Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas does not mean it is a hate crime to celebrate Christmas. America was founded on religion...yes. Being able to practice YOUR religion. Whether it is ISLAM, CHRISTIANITY, JUDAISM, HINDU, BUDDHISM and so on. Sure some of the founding fathers were Christian some were not but just because they were does not mean any other religion in this country should be insulted because of that. Just because a store wants to accommodate all of it's shoppers considering many different religions have holidays around this season...does not mean that it is a war on Christmas or violating your right to practice your religion. You can practice your religion in church and in your home but stores do NOT have to accommodate your religion in particular. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with Atheism. Just being fair to all costumers of different religions. Plus stores still say merry Christmas and have trees up and people still put nativity scenes on their laws and Christmas lights up. I do not have a problem with you celebrating Christmas or putting your lights up. No one is trying to start a war with Christmas. Why is this a problem?

Oh stop it. Looking for trouble where there is none. You might want to take a look at the origin of Christmas. It should please some of you that there is no Christmas tree as it is pagan.

You really have to stop being so paranoid.
5% of American are Atheists
15% are non-Christians.
80% are Christians.

As an Atheist I still celebrate Christmas traditions.
