This is an annual event. The president always pardons a turkey just before the Thanksgiving holiday. The next turkey in line isn't so lucky.

Every President pardons a Turkey for Thanksgiving, but ever since one of the Turkeys attacked Reagan, they have been sedated at the ceremony.

He said seeing Turkey gives so much money that they stool from good Christians than he would allow them to deny the truth.
Did you see what was under the wing of the Turkey? It was a bog of US dollars to pay off the butcher for his cutting the innocent chicks and let the big bird go.
The Turkey also told all in DC if they did not pardon them they would leave droppings on them so they had better pardon.

Hey... random anti Bush person... They have been doing this for a long time. The tradition of pardoning a turkey dates back over 50 years to Harry Truman. Even Clinton pardoned a Turkey. You need to go back to the school of Liberal propaganda and learn to not get owned by us dumberer peoples.

What a shame he couldn't pardon the thousands of sick kids he just vetoed.
Oh, your picture illustrates that point beautifully.
