...to have so many self-appointed neocon experts here on Y! that are so much smarter and well informed than the scholars that award Nobel prizes and those that receive them!

according to Glenn Beck, Al Gore has canceled a speaking engagement today to make an emergency trip abroad for an event related to his work on global warming, perhaps to accept a Nobel award.

why don't you cons attack other Nobel award winners? (like Einstein, for instance). have you any idea how foolish you appear by asserting that the entire global scientific community is wrong about global warming and you and your few politicians and pundits are right?

just what evidence will it take to override your ignorant and stubborn ways?

I have recently started a magazine company called 2Sides that has this very goal in mind.
I am looking for moderate, responsible voices who are willing to write for publication, and state their cases without getting involved in the bashing, name-calling, and partisan BS.

Why are conservative "Christians" so obnoxius and feel so moraly superior to others. They are often intolerant and selfish. Their views and actions often seem opposite of the benevolence that Jesus actually stood for. I'd be happy if we put all religous zealots (Christian, Jewish, Hindi, Moslem, etc.) on Antartica and let them battle it out as to who was "better", and let the rest of us live in peace.

yes is it a voluntary cult, and if people are dumb enough to spend all their money to it and get in debt then thats their problem. but surely the evidence of harm and despair it can cause is enough for the governments to bring it down. i mean, in america it has already gained power, but how do they get away with having a church in central london? aint our laws so strict that cons like this are punishable?

There is this kid in my class who always struts around with his BushHiter Shirt and MoveOn.org hat, drinking his Pumkin Spice Latte always mouthing off about the 'Illegal' war and how America is bad and such. I asked him if he would ever serve his county and he said he does not beleive in war. I think he just another scared lefty who leaches off of america and never gives anything back.
