There's a big difference between beating an army and a bunch of terrorists who are willing to kill themselves and innocent bystanders.

The US military is good at defeating armies and still learning how to deal with terrorists.

We have over 150,000 troops in the theater for 4 years and have lost just over 3,000 and you call that getting our "butts" kicked? You need a dose of reality boy; the enemy has sustained far more losses then the US has - the only war we are losing is the media war against America because the left hates America so long as the "right" is running it.

North Korea is not a country that could easily be invaded. Unlike the people of Iraq they do not hate their little dictator because he has brainwashed them good over the last 30 years. Saddam did not brain wash his population he oppressed them - there is a difference. The people of NK would rise up and defend their chiefdom making occupying their country impossible.

The means to defeating NK is smart bombing the president and making peace with his replacement.

The Arab militia groups in Iraq don't fight fairly - which is alright, because one could argue that the American servicemen skulking behind thick armor don't do so either.

I don't think the North Koreans would have much of a choice either way if they were invaded.

Your question is invalid as there is no Arab militia fighting us. They are terrorists, many of which are non-Iraqi. We have killed 10s of thousands yet we have lost a little over 3ooo out probably close to 500,000 different individuals who have served in Iraq. Stop being a puppet to Wolf Blitzer and Harry Reed.

Uh, no they can't.

Planting some bombs and killing some soldiers in convoys while getting killed at a rate 4 to 5 (or more) times higher, is NOT anybody's (at least anybody whose opinion I'd respect) definition of "kicking butt".

And we're not going to invade NorK, anyway so it's a moot point.

Besides, are you forgetting the ease with which the Iraqi army was destroyed? And they were better equipped than the NorKs.

Who have the Arab militia you are referring to defeated? If you are going by body count, it isn't even close - they lose. Just because you see an occasional bombing on the news, don't equate that with anything except desperation. The militia you refer to couldn't defeat anyone (not even the French) - they are just rats sulking around in the shadows too afraid to come out in the open.

Well Arab militias are not kicking anyones butt. They have success because they don't have uniforms and we can't tell the friendlies from the Non- Friendly.

As for NK , they would be easy because they have uniforms and would fight as a normal army would.

ALL that ive spoken with say the mass media types are NOT conveying the correct picture of what's going on over there... NONE believe that we are losing... or even remotely close..

Hey come on over here and witness this so called butt kicking yourself. Look at any real battles between insurgents and soldier/marines. We come out 10-1 or better on casuatly rates. IEDs and shoot and run mortar attacks (like we just had an hour ago) are not kicking butt.
