Once again, their leading candidates fall far short of the mark. The only thing Obama has going for him is his race and the only thing Hillary has going for her is...uh, hmmm.. ??

For twenty years they've been preaching equal rights for minorities in the White House.

They have 2 choices as their super-prime unqualified goats:
Hillary
Obama

First, that is a racist statement to say that the only thing that Obama has going for him is his race. He's highly educated and not a typically Washington insider, that's what he has going for him (amongst other things).

Why is it that you can't just say you will support a republican before a democrat anyday?

Your question makes it seem like these candidates have absolutely no business running, but you fail to say why. All this partisian attacks makes me sick. give credit where credit is due. If you make statements like "they fall far short of the mark" at least provide the criteria for this claim, otherwise you're doing nothing more than trying to inflame the public and further divide the mass, which is already at an all time high, since slavery. I'd appreciate it!

As you already know, it's the Republicans who are having a horrible time finding someone to nominate who can beat the Democrats. Your party is actually talking about splitting off. So why even ask this question? Of course you don't think the Democrats have a good candidate, you aren't a Democrat. But unlike your party, the Democrats feel they have a rich field, and compared to the Republicans they're set to take this election. Every indicator anyone can find points this out to be the truth. So worry about your own party, the Democrats are doing just fine. The Republicans on the other hand...well...uh...hmmmm??

The dems said the same thing 13 months before the 2000 election and the repugs eventually gave us Bush.

Just goes to show, intelligence is not a measure in politics.

Biden would be a viable candidate and is capable of doing a great job, I believe. But leave it up to the Libs to choose according to whom they think stands the best chance of winning. Once again, they're proving themselves to be incapable of running anything other than the mediocre and in one case intensely disliked.

No problem. It'll bite them in the butt!

to be blunt.

they no longer need to.

as bad as the dems look - the alternative has become all but unthinkable.

there isn't a republican candidate alive today that i'd vote for.

not a single one.

i may never vote repube again.

Very good question. I thought they screwed the pooch with Kerry. So to improve on that debacle they come up with.... Hillary and Obama?? And these are the front runners? If I were a Democrat, I'd jump ship for this reason alone.

C'mon, Dems. Can't you do any better than this? Who'll they pick next, Michael Moore and Al Franken?

I think we need to scrap all of them and start over. Dem's and Rep both need scraping.
We definitely need help and all new candidates running who can do something that the Americans really want and need.

I agree. Sad part is, they are a hell of a lot better than the other side's candidates.

The whole field -- both major parties -- is full of clowns and mouthpieces, as far as I'm concerned.

I would like to see a bi-partisan ticket.
