I was driving on a two lane road yesterday and the speed limit is 45mph. There was a car in front of me going slow, so I decided to pass him. When I was passing him/her a car coming from a side street was making a right turn ( which meant it was going to come at me head on) I saw the turning car not really stop at the stop sign so I layed on my horn, he went off into the grass and I finished my pass. Now my question is, if he hit me, whos fault would that have been.? MIne even thou I was doing a legal pass or his who did not look both ways even thou he really only need to look one way

The judge has ruled that before the film can be shown in the classrooms in England the children must be informed of the falsehoods. With so many fabrications, why hasn't Gore been eliminated from the Nobel Peace Prize competition? If he wins, the prize will imediately cease to be of any significance whatsoever.

We're still not out of the clear (officially it's October 22), but at this time I think we should thank people like Michael Mossad Chertoff, Dick Cheney, and the rest of the CIA Mossad black ops team for sparing us the unthinkable.

In Chicago, we have Mayor Daley. He's raising taxes, well...pretty much on everything. Even miscelaneous items it seems. If I could change my mayoral vote I would. Next time I won't even bother. The taxes he's raising is making Chicago more of a name to be an expensive city rather than a liveable one. Do you feel voting makes a differnce anymore? Like...why should I bother?

Did you know that the Bush administration wants to kill 600 wolves in Wyoming and Idaho? That's almost half of the whole population in those areas oh and doesn't it matter that they are on the endangered list! What is with Bush and his killing spree? Hasn't he caused enough death in his term without going after defenseless animals now?

As long as the political parties can keep the people divided they will never unite in a way that would make it possible to revolt against a corrupt system of government. Is this what has happened in America?

My ex has been serving a yr sentence for non-payment of child support. His ex gf just told me that he told her that he has been working for the past 3 months and was making $14/hr which he was going to be able to keep when he got out. I went to the courthouse and tried to find out why I was not getting his child support payments if he was working. They said that they did not have any records of him being on work-release so they called the county jail where he is being held and was told that he was on work-detail. So is he making money or isn't he? And how is he able to use the phone while he is working to call his ex gf?

I am a conservative but not a republican. I'd like to see something good from either party. However, these 2 "leaders" are really idiots (I'm know the GOP has idiots too but let's stick with the Dems). I hear them speak and think to myself: "my God...the nation is being led by total baffoons". Neither of these people should have been elected in the first place let alone become the leaders of their party in Congress. Just curious what you folks think - whether you're a conservative or a liberal doesn't matter. Just want to know your opinions.

Here are the results of the last one;

"George W. Bush emerged from the election with fifty-one percent of the popular vote -- the first outright majority for any presidential candidate since his father in 1988, and the first president since Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1936 to be re-elected while gaining seats in both the House and the Senate."

NOTE: Bill Clinton never got 50% of the vote.

I don't remember any pleas about "supporting your troops" when Clinton was sending troops to various places.

If Patriots aren't supposed to dissent, why were republicans dissenting when Clinton was in office. Did everyone just magically become more patriotic after 9/11?

Oprah's question, not mine, but I just want to see what answers are here. Studies are showing that mortality rates are higher for lower income families due to poor or no health insurance in the United States. Those who do not believe in government sponsored health care are failing to come up with any answers, just criticisms of a government system. What are your thoughts?
