I disagree with a lot of McCain's political beliefs and a lot of the decisions he's made the last few years.
However, there is no question that McCain is a true hero and patriot. McCain deserves and has earned respect.
Kerry has earned nothing but contempt. Lying about US servicemen. Falsifying reports to earn himself medals. Throwing fake medals in the river. Calling our troops the most uneducated part of our society. Calling our troops murderers and rapists. The list goes on. And none of it touches his politics. Outside of any political debate, Kerry is a fraud and dishonorable fool.

I'm no McCain fan, but he's in a totally different class (for the better) than John Kerry.

They both supported the amnesty bill sellout> There a non issue>Along with all the other that are selling out the citizens for the Illegals>

They're both combat veterans, both served with honor and distinction and both were willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
If there were a McCain/Kerry ticket for 2008, I would not only support it and vote the ticket, I would volunteer my time to go around and get the word out. The only ones capable of prosecuting war intelligently and correctly are those who have BEEN there.
A deserter calling himself "The War President" does not qualify.
Being an Army veteran myself, I respect veterans, especially Combat veterans, and will not compare which seem "more alive" to you.
They did their duty, I did mine.
