Because the country is being flooded with millions of illegal immigrants that want the US taxpayer to pay to educate them and their children and pay for their medical care while they send most of the money they make back to the country they came from instead of putting it back into the US economy.

Too many illegal aliens have made it difficult to admit legal immigrants. The real problem is our inability to control this illegal invasion, particularly the one at our Southern border. The real problem is illegal immigration...it's created all of our major problems in immigration. This country has to stop the insanity and start enforcing it's own immigration laws and stop allowing illegal foreign invaders so much access and freedom within our system.

Immigration is not a problem at all, that is what this country was built on.
ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION is the big problem. Billions of AMERICAN TAX DOLLARS collected by working AMERICANS are being spent for medical, housing, food stamps, welfare for ILLEGAL Immigrants. These are goods and service paid for by American that should go to AMERICANS not Illegal Immigrants that have no right to them.
Why should my tax dollars go to support some dead beat that came in to this country ILLEGALLY? Somone who does not respect our laws, our country, our Flag or that will not even take the time to learn the language of the country they invaded?
That is the big problem.

Legal immigration is not a problem in the United States. Illegal Immigration is a problem because so many people have broken the rule of law and our government and industries have tolerated it so much. The real issue is if these laws mean nothing - which one's do.

The tax payers pay 350 billion per year to subsidize illegal immigrants. That works out to about $2000 per family. So, I am not impressed if lettuce prices double.
Immigration is not a problem but the illegal immigration is.

Legal immigration is not a problem. It is the illegal immigrants who demand amnesty and benefits that they are not entitled to.

I personally believe that there are still alot of racist people out there. I also believe that a large part of this issue is a problem because there are bad maexicans, just like there are bad white people, bad black people, bad asain people etc... people stereotype like crazy! I've noticed especially through public forums (like ksl.com) where people talk about news and such, each time a crime is the topic several people JUMP to put the blame on the mexican race, they terrorize this race with racial slurs and terrible comments. I believe this is unfair...Especially since all of california nevada arizona utah newmexico and a good chunk of texas was land of mexico's UNTIL us AMericans came and STOLE IT FROM MEXICO.... STOLE! Another point that people need to understand is that life over there isn't that great, why else would they want to come over here where they have a CHANCE to live freely and with food in thier bellies. COULD ANY OF YOU honestly say after looking into the eyes of your hungry children (with no hope for a better life in mexico) that you wouldn't do whatever in the world it took, to give them a life where they don't go to bed starving and they don't wake up each morning with out a future?... I would just like any DECENT PERSON would..... If we believe we have the right to freedom and keeping our children safe why don't we believe THEY have the same right??? These people even when they are here illegally are doing something I admire. The price to come over here is huge, they need money thats why they come illegally how can they pay alot of money to come here when they are trying to GET money by coming here.
ON the other hand I do see that some of the people here illegally are not doing good for our country and that angers me. I see problems like people not paying taxes and working our system to thier advantage and it frusterates me greatly... but what we need is a screening process or something .... What i don't understand is the mexican govt. must know that everyone wants to come over here... why don't they just mimic our govt. and our way of life... ???

legal immigration isn't but illegal is because you don't know what kind of people are coming to the US. illegally. Example one of the reasons for illegal immirgration is that some people can't get visas, because they have bad, or criminal records, then those people immigrate illegally.
