How about splitting it in half, and giving half to the republicans, and half to the dems? Cuz it seems that in our quest to be free, we have segregated ourselves, except that instead of just by skin color, we are now splitting into either the "fluffy clouds and flower smellers", or the "if you don't like it get outers". (I'm going to stay here with them incidentally)

Can you explain it to me?

I know 2 years after commissioning, Ensigns are promoted to Lt. (jg). Then to Lt.... After Lt., they go to Lieutenant Commander, but do they incur a longer service commitment upon themselves? Can they serve some of that commitment in the Reserves?

Links please, if you have them. It's okay if not...

THANKS!

Should a woman be prevented from having an abortion if the father is willing to take total responsibility for the child. After all the man had a part in creating this life too. I think if the answer is no then you have a terrible double standard that will cost innocent children their lives. Pretty selfish really.

How come a women can get out of paying for a child by having an abortion but a man can't legally refuse to pay child support if the baby is born? Where is the fairness that feminists are always complaining about?

I hear libs say a democrat will win in 2008 because "most Americans want the troops home" but don't you think what it really is going to come down to is this:

Do you want the troops home defeated, or do you want the troops home in victory?

And it's not about whether there is a 'military' solution or not. If we leave and Iraq's government falls because we weren't there, it will be viewed as a military loss. On the other hand if we stay long enough for it to work out in Iraq, it will be viewed as a military victory.

When it comes to electing a president in 2008, I believe it will go down as whether most Americans want Retreat and Defeat, or whether most Americans want Perseverance and Victory.

I am not a democrat, republican or any other title. I do know that the success of illegal immigration is contingent on Hillary and no other democrat. Other democrats do not have the same commitment from " the race." La Raza is spearheading her campaign and has practically shunned everyone except Mrs. Clinton. If for whatever reason a republican does not win and Hillary is toppled, there will be a panic in the house of La Raza.

They have ignored and talked against other candidates in order to help Mrs. Thangs. Now that the tide has turned, they will have to eat crow and do damage control. IT IS NOT GOING TO WORK!! They WILL eat the fruit of their labor. Finally and permanently, they will be put out to pasture without hay.

I see this in a lot of conservatives. You are against abortion, but you favor the death penalty. Why? Isn't it taking a life either way? I don't support either. Don't you think everyone has the right to life? Young and old? Innocennt and guilty? Do people ever learn that 2 wrongs don't make a right?

"The Economist" ( June 19 2004,,page 56,, artical "Chain Reaction " ) that there is a law in Chicago that to display ANY of eleven ( 11 ) different body parts is subject to a $500.00 fine. Can anyone tell me what these 11 body parts are.

It seems hypocritical to me. Protect the fetus and kill the man. Of course they are two completely different political issues but they both involve either the protection or destruction of life. The only way I see a rationalization is if you are basing your reasoning on fear, which isn't rational in the first place.

Fear that you or someone else will upset "god," or fear that you will be killed if we don't kill others first. The latter of which only presents a spiral of violence that forces each side in a war to only build up more propaganda and more recruits and new ways to kill more efficiently. World War 2 cost this world 60 million lives.

If US attacks China, then China will shoot nuclear missiles on Us cities and take out American satellites. Sure, American forces can overwhelm the Chinese military but I know China can fight a long war with the United States because the economy is good. Also, North Korea and Iran are allies of China. well, China is developing the J-XX stealth fighter similar to the US F-22 raptor. It suppose to be released in a decade from now. Recently, a US aircraft carrier in Japan initially could not detect a submerged Chinese submarine until it came up. Also, China is developing it's own version of Patriot missiles. Russia has provided China with deadly Sunburn and Sizzler missiles. These missiles travel at Mach 2.5 speed leaving Us warships vunerable. But I know for sure that the Us military can invade China since the Chinese army outnumbers US soldiers 5-1.
