It seems like everything is a double standard in the USA and Israel. I am beginning to think that the true terrorists are those that claim to be fighting it (terrorism). It is sickening.

The government lodes their pockets with all of our tax dollors and let the poor get poorer and the sick get sicker without any help from them. I just think they should take all their raises back from 20 years back and use that money to help the poor and the sick in housing and hospital stay. What do you think?

and should it be banned totally? Only allowed if you are going to die anyway? In constant pain with no end in sight? Any of above and physically unable to do it yourself? Allowed to anyone?

I admit I am not sure where I stand on this one. I would think it is the person's right to end their life....as for the doctor's end I dunno...seems like something that could be f'd up very easily..especially by the HMO bastids.

But I know if I was in constant pain with no positive improvement possible, unable to perform the deed myself (or just wishing my family be spared the gruesome scene of self-inflicted) I would want medical help to just end it all.

Everyone is obessing over what Rush said but no one is mention what this man did...some are even supporting him.

Not only did he lie about his service time, he lied about seeing first hand atrocities happening in a country he never stepped foot in.

I started working as a contractor at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey this week. This morning for the first time, I witnessed colors - people in uniform saluted and I think cars even stopped driving. It's an awesome thing to see, but I wasn't sure exactly what I (civilian) was supposed to do, so I just stopped and stood until everyone else started moving again.

What is the proper behavior for a civilian? And if I'm in a car when it starts, do I stop driving?

I was raised in Pittsburgh Pa. and the only thing between me being called an American is the citizenship. I heard that if you stayed in the states for 5 years, you were entitled to citizenship. Problem is that I was so young then and my dad didn't apply for it. Today I just got a 5 year visa to enter the US. I am so happy. The US to me is like my home. People where I live don't consider me anything except American. I sleep, eat, drink and feel American.
I have an American brother and sister who were born there too. My brother is living there now. I really envy him.

I lost touch with a very good friend ten years ago. I helped save his life and get him sober and clean. Not as a girlfriend or a sexual thing, but as the best friend of his very troubled girlfriend. I am thinking of him but he has a very common name so it is difficult to find him. Is there a website or service that helps people find servicemen who are no longer on active duty?
