I have a little clue on this. I know that if you are in the Navy & you're on tour you go where your ship goes, and if you're in the AF, Army & Marines you go were your troop goes or where you are assigned too.

Now, can a military service man be deployed alone? How about a Private Military Contractors?

I went AWOL from the army in 2004 after basic training . I never made it to my unit. I really have no idea what is going on with the AWOL thing. I called
the army yesterday gave them my social security number, my name, my
address and when they entered me into the computer they said I had no
warrant out for my arrest and asked me if I had my DD214's since it stated on
their record as me being seperated in 2004. But I do not have those
papers???

If you are a criminal, you want to stay away from Courts and the grey bars they lead to.

But what if you are a hard working person who wants to assert your rights have you been to court? Then you need to go to civil courts to make someone stronger than you grant your rights.

Have you every been in Court? Did the decision turn out, adorned with fairness ?

I took a statistics class in college and didn't understand it, but I read on Yahoo today that the latest polls show that Bush's rating on his job performance is 32% while Congress' is 22%. At the very end of the article it said this poll was conducted by contacting 1005 people by phone.

How in the heck can pollsters gauge the mood of the country by only contacting 1005 people>

okay, my b/f was in a wreck last friday...no one was injured, and everyone drove away from the scene, went to another location and talked it over. the accident occured because he was exiting a highway...while on exiting, he noticed that car B was trying not to hit car A, but car B hit car A. he couldnt move over to other side because its an exit ramp and other cars were coming up behind him, so he slammed on his brakes, hitting car B. keep in mind that car B hit car A. car B damaged her front, while my b/f (car C) damaged her trunk. car C's hood and bumper was smashed. how will the insurance determine who was at fault. it was his understanding that he would help to fix car B's trunk, and she agreed, but now they have called our insurance company and filed a claim. i think that car B should be responsible for her front damage and not rely on our insurance to pay for the entire damage. we didnt call our insurance company because we are paying for our own damage. any advice will help.thnx

Hillary has chosen Ron Dellum, Mayor of Oakland, CA (remember, that is the place that would not allow returning troops to enter the airport terminal) as her head of Urban Policy Committee.
You might well ask why that matters or WHO is Ron Dellums. Please read:
http://www.geocities.com/CapitolHill/Senate/1777/dellums.htm
In announcing her acceptance of Mayor Dellums support and his selection as her campaign's head of Urban Policy, she refered to him as, "My good friend."
When a candidate allies themselves with such an overt anti-American as this, what else are people supposed to think?
Clearly, Hillary IS the Manchurian Candidate.

It would seem to me that as long as the Iraqi citizens are exercising their right to develop thier country as they see fit, then this would be a good thing....right??

Looks like Maliki wants to be the next Saddam Hussein to me and dominate all of Iraqi under Shiite law, not Democracy.

"Eligibility: Most states cap eligibility to families whose income is less than twice the government poverty level, or $41,228 for a family of four in 2006. The bill would have limited the full federal match to families with incomes less than three times the poverty level, or $61,842 for a family of four."

Why isn't a twenty percent increase enough?

"What's next: Bush has recommended a 20 percent increase in the program's size, to an average $6 billion over the next five years, and administration officials have indicated a willingness to negotiate."

On C-span this morning, Republicans were saying they wanted to get the override bill vote done so they could present new legislation to get children funded. But the Democrats are stalling. Is that because they want it to appear that the SCHIP program will not be funded at all?

We could change 'president' to 'CEO'. Outsource the job to Halliburton or Northrup Grumman. The CEO would have more political capital to get things done their way. We wouldn't need voters per se, the companies share holders could decide who leads the country, U.S. citizens, as 'customers' wouldn't need a say in the business end of country affairs, it would be a less stress non-voting relationship. In the dollar I trust...........

During WWII, Democrat President, Franklin D. Roosevelt ordered the "internment" (arrest) of Japanese people living in the United States.

Today, president day Liberals seem to enjoy citing this fact as evidence in support of their claim that 'America is racist' while continently neglecting to mention that it was THEIR PRESIDENT who ordered the internment.

Another fact these Liberals always seem to forget to mention is that, along with the Japanese, members of the German-American Bund were interned, often in the very same camps.

This repeated oversight seems to suggest that Liberals believe that, while it is wrong to intern non-Caucasian people, such as the Japanese, it is perfectly acceptable for their leaders to intern Caucasian people.

Looking at the situation objectively though, the Japanese and the Bund members were "interned" for the same reasons, namely that they worshiped men the US was at war with and treated these men as pseudo gods.
