It would seem to me that as long as the Iraqi citizens are exercising their right to develop thier country as they see fit, then this would be a good thing....right??

Looks like Maliki wants to be the next Saddam Hussein to me and dominate all of Iraqi under Shiite law, not Democracy.

Of course. That is why we dropped off 200,000 weapons and let the people pick them up and do with them what they wanted.

Just kidding. I have no idea. But isn't it ridiculous for us to expect them to "have democracy" but not be able to make their own decisions?

They are suppose to be a free democratic country?

the simple fact that these people can carry weapons where ever they want, shoot them off when ever they want, shows that they are not developed enough to be ready for democracy.
