Because some of you are sharing your experience, so will I.

OK, I am an advocate of the poor. I have been in court above district court about 5 times I lost each time.

I have seen judges denied acess to the Courts for other poor people because the judge figured all the family needed to do was sell more dope to come it will the filing fee. They were Not selling.

I now am in Bangor ME, US Distrist Court about to get the entire thing IMPROPERLY kicked out. To protect the towns and states bad acts which makes my job harder if not downright impossible.

The Court Has said I have no right to be free from acts which makes my work harder. It also says I should be quiet and let non relevant caselaw apply to the kicking out of the case.

The US CT of Appeals in Boston has a guide booklet for self representor saying "An Appeal entered by the Litigant themselves without the benefit of a Lawyer is to Complex for a Non lawyer to win." So don't try is the message.

I prefer not to disclose the actual situation but I can tell you this much.... When the summon paper was delivered to the defendent, he decided to see things my way. We settled out of court. It was a good decision on his part, as my attorney saw no way that I would lose, should we have gone in front of a judge.

It was a civil case involving contractors.

I strongly suggest you'd call the court house, get some schedules of proceedings and go watch. Most cases are open to public. Public is welcome to come watch. I did this, too, and it was very interesting/educational.

The court system has worked for me every time. That's because I was in the right and hadn't broken the law. I've been to court to:

- Contest a speeding ticket
- Respond to a former roommate suing for rent AFTER he asked me to move out
- Sue a former employer for unpaid wages

I won all three times. Anyone who says the system sucks was guilty! Show up on time, follow all the rules, be polite, state your case clearly, don't get angry or call names, and things will go fine.
