that is a personal choice he has to make(he is entitled to free speech even if it is hateful or insulting). He should be man enough to meet the man face to face though.

Yes. For years he has characterized any democratic soldiers who run for political office as "hiding behind a military uniform". That's a clear, undisputable case of someone who chooses to attack not the POLITICS or platform of a person, but their military service. You are either for the troops or Rush. Choose wisely; in another 9/11 attack, it won't be Rush coming to fight for you.

By that same token, should Randi Rhodes appologize for calling all volunteers in the military, economically challenged mercenaries who needed a leg up and took the first bonus waved in their face?
Rush Limbaugh has freedom of speech, like you do. Like Randi Rhodes does. You dont have to like what he says, just like I dont like most of the stuff thats on a liberal talk show. I dont claim they need to appologize, if I dont like it, I change the channel. Anything Rush says, or anything Randi says, doesnt change my life.
Unfortunatly, I cant get rid of politicians I don't like in the same way, because they do affect my life. So I don't think Rush should appologize if he doesn't want to. Thats a chance he will have to take in the ratings.

For what?
His comments were about phoney vets Liberals like to parade around.
Is Brian McGough a real vet? Then God bless him, whatever his stance.
What did Ann Coulter say a little while ago? "Liberals are hopping mad because Rush Limbaugh referred to phony soldiers as "phony soldiers." They claim he was accusing all Democrats in the military of being "phony."
True, all Democrats in the military are not phony soldiers, but all phony soldiers seem to be Democrats."

Mr. Limbaugh does not owe apologies to anyone. I think I smell a liberal here.

If he did, He certainly would.
However, I believe all the evidence is in and it indicates that he doesn't.
