It's sad but true. Polls have conclusively shown that more christians than atheists support torturing people in order to get "information" out of them. Most of those people are innocent and were turned in by others for cash rewards from our government anyways. Not one single terrorist plot or attack has been stopped by this medeival behavior. They haven't got anything to show for all of the evil that they have perpetrated.

It is what happens if you reduce all morality to private behavior. One should not forget the other big story of the day. There is a renewed effort by the Republicans to make Craig resign to show that they stand up Christian values. Maybe they could get CIA to help with some enhanced interrogation to find the truth about what happened in Minneapolis.

We are not in war where both sides are playing by Queensberry rules of war.

I like to know so you think burning bodies and beheading is on the same level as playing rock music or having a woman in the room?

I can tell you don't care about the human rights of those who are the victims of Muslim torture.

The U.S. used to take the "high road" when it came to this sort of thing. But something changed that. It was GWB, The guy that said he would restore dignity to the White House. How opposite did that turn out???

I don't "know" that they did, I am not going to trust the NYT for telling me when the sun comes up--that aside, I hope they did, it's about time we stopped playing patty-cake with terrorists.

I'm against torture. It is cruel and often not an effective way to extract accurate information........
