I recently was laid off and was wondering how you can go about claiming money from the government? I can't remember what exactly it's called, something like workers comp.

Last night Dick Durbin (D-IL), the measure's chief Senate
sponsor stated that attempts to attach the Dream Act to
the defense authorization bill had failed. "I am disappointed
for thousands of young people whose lives are just in limbo."

But even in defeat, the arrogance of amnesty Democrats was
clearly evident. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, bristling
over the defeat, said the battle is "still on" promising
passage this Fall!

Cecilia Munoz, senior vice president of the National Council
of La Raza added, "There is no question that this issue doesn't
stop here."

In a recent question I asked about Clinton and JFK, eluding to their sex lives, and many women thought their sex life wasn't a factor in their decision that both were quality men.

Yeah, run that by me again?

So if a democrat President can get side action - do they condone side action of their significant others?

One would think it's jolly okay and almost a requirement!

Why single out certain crimes and make them hate crimes? The underlying acts are already crimes. Just because they are directed at a religion, race or sexual identity, should the punishment be stiffer or different from the underlying crime? Isn't this liberal pandering when the acts constitution the hate crime are already prohibited.
OR, is this some new class of crime that would not be illegal but for the hate crime legislation?

I keep hearing about the people that are For Illegal Immigration as opposed to Legal Immigration and I wonder if such people really exist or if others just made them up for their own political reasons.
Also - If your for Illegal Immigration please say why - are you a farmer ? - run a resturant ?

Because she keeps saying 'in the Clinton administration this...in the clinton Administrations that...' and talking about "when 'we' left office there was so much money and now there's a deficit" whatever whatever. But THEN she says she's running on her own, not with Bill. She's being too hypocritical!

A family member has been arrested and charged. (they aledge she stole from her employer( She maintains she didn't do it, but I wonder if they would have filed charges without excellent evidence? any ideas on A: what kind of evidence they likely have and B: if she'll face jail time she has small childlren.

When people talk about war, they tend to say there was always war and there will always be war. Beyond that there is not much thinking about what we as human beings can do to decrease those deadly conflicts. My ex husband has an EX girlfriend who has become obsessed with my 6 year old. She is always telling me that I don't like how close she is to my son and that nobody can take away what they have together and even his new girlfriend can't take her place. She is harrassing me with text messages that say I can't stop her from seeing my son etc. I fear that she will kidnap him & return to Texas where she is from. We are currently in CA. Help please.
