"what additional benefits does the Christian faith need'? for starters...restoration of our freedom to pray in schools. America is being spiritualy neglected. If our Godly leaders don't rise up America will go continue to go hungry spiritually wise.

The last thing we need in 2008 is someone pounding the Christian faith. I think it's doing quite well, thank you. I also think mixing religion and politics is quite toxic. I keep thinking, Dark Ages, women burned at the stake, the Spanish Inquisition...hmmm, let's not do this again, okay?

Furthermore, the Constitution states that there shall be no religious test for office. I want a leader who will benefit all faiths and people of no faith, especially since nonbelievers have been stomped on for way too long. There are also people who are spiritual but not religious, in case you did not know.

As for prayer in school, please remember that not everyone prays to the same god. Would you want your children to recite a Jewish prayer, a Muslim prayer, a Buddhist chant, a Hindu prayer, a Wiccan spell, etc.? If not, you can't have your Christian school-sponsored prayer. However your kid can pray in school if he wants, just not publicly. Besides, as long as there are tests, there will be prayer in school (joke).

As an EX-mormon and now a Christian, no. i can not ever "seem previous" his faith. specifically, might i individually desire a president of the country I stay in to have believed a lie his complete existence, and base his values on his very own degree of "goodness"? yet maximum heavily, he does not signify me, yet says he does. I say he does not. If I say he does not, then... he does not. God says whoever believes a lie isn't area of Him, and that's the main mandatory opinion i can furnish.

I doubt any of them will. And besides, the job of the President isn't just to benefit the Americans of the Christian faith, but ALL Americans of ALL faiths.

What additional benefits do those of the Christian faith need?

I don't think any of them will...Reagan, Bush I and Bush II all gave lip service to christianity, but what did they do for Christians? nothing. And nobody who has a chance at the nomination is saying anything as conservative as those Presidents.

Any candidate that will get us out of the immoral war in Iraq will benefit the Christian faith. I think that might include Richardson, Obama, Edwards and possibly Huckabee.

It is not important. The Presidency is a secular job. If they can handle the secular job that is all that is important. We don't have a theocracy as in Iran and so it doesn't matter here.

Who cares? I want to know which one will benefit the United States. If you want a spiritual leader look to the pope, this isn't Vatican City.

Mike Huckabee is the one with the most faith. Unfortunately he won't win but could be the VP...
