They don't care about whether or not I respect them.
They only respect their own limited opinions.
And they wish to impose limited options on the rest of us.
I've seen too much over the years to respect the pro-life movement, they just don't respect a woman's ability to know if she is ready to have a baby or not. They think they know better in all cases. Life don't work like that.
I really find it odd that they want to insist that the people least able to care for children still churn them out. Or not have sex, but, lets face it there are a lot of truly selfish, stupid people out there having sex and babies that shouldn't. In my book, not wanting a child is good enough reason not to go through pregnancy and childbirth.

Yes, but only because Ive actually looked into Plan B.
If Plan B is needed (meaning the embryo has attached) then this is nothing more than an immediate abortion. If you believe that life begins at conception then you have to be against Plan B, or be labled a hypocrite.
As for the ones that want to ban contraceptives, I have trouble respecting anyone who seems to think that sex is evil. Maybe theyre doing it wrong, but I assure you that no way of sex Ive tried is evil.
As long as someone is against abortion and Plan B for the right reason (only one Ive seen is thinking that life begins at conception and therefore it is muder) then I can respect them. If theyre in it because sex is evil and abortion encourages it and all that jazz then I have no respect for them.

They're seriously misinformed about biology and science. They also value the fertilized egg over the woman. There are some people who believe--contrary to all scientific evidence--that pregnancy begins when sperm meets egg. There are also some people who don't get that hormonal contraception prevents ovulation in the first place. And these same people think that if you don't want a child, you shouldn't be having sex.
Well, people are going to engage in premarital sex, recreational sex, etc., and they should have the tools to prevent pregnancy so the woman doesn't have to have an abortion, and she isn't forced to have a child she doesn't want.
So, no, I don't respect anyone who calls themselves pro-life and wants to prevent me from getting contraception, favors the death penalty, and favors war so long as they and their kids don't have to fight it.

I have ZERO respect for such people! I can sort of understand the argument for some that abortion causes pain for the fetuses at certain stages. However, Plan B doesn't hurt ANYONE. And besides, they're being, to say the very least, UNREALISTIC if they actually think that banning contraception or nonmarital sex is going to solve the problem.
