In a recent question I asked about Clinton and JFK, eluding to their sex lives, and many women thought their sex life wasn't a factor in their decision that both were quality men.
Yeah, run that by me again?
So if a democrat President can get side action - do they condone side action of their significant others?
One would think it's jolly okay and almost a requirement!
Please debate.

Paula Revere - It's been hinted at (several times in the book) that Jackie got more than her fill with foreign Presidents and dignitaries while Jack was out hammering on their wives... lol

caldude1010101 - So quality people in your book are okay to scam US Citizens out of millions for a legal defenses of their private or personal matters? Like Whitewater and the Lewinsky scandal? Terrible pardons, selling military intelligence to China, the Lincoln bedroom, Jennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, travelgate... To list a few of the highly sought actions that make Bill Clinton a cherished and outstanding quality person in your eyes. Cute.

not all women human beings help Hillary. those that do wish what she has to grant. it would desire to come right down to how vast of a undertaking is bill's cheating? it form of feels greater of a private difficulty. enable's not be naive. cheating looks to take place everywhere. There are no appropriate human beings. bill is an extremely smart and nicely knowledgeable guy. i'm not balloting for Hillary in spite of the shown fact that it has little to do with bill's infidelity and her staying with him. this is her selection and none of my business enterprise. It does not look getting into her way. She looks focused and razor sharp.

I am certain, beyond a reasonable doubt, many women look the other way when their man wonders in order to maintain the lifestyle which they have become accustomed. Its a lot easier than making waves. Look at Kobe Bryant. He bought his wife's forgiveness with a ring.
Rebublican's have no corner on the morality market so it would be lovely to stop hearing about these judgements.
One thing I still don't understand is why so many people are still so fascinated w/ a BJ so many years later, its like the last straw to hold on to.

I do not consider myself a Lib. Our boyfriends and husbands are not running for president, but that is besides the point. Whether or not our leaders get a little on the side has no bearing on how they run the country. In my opinion, the sexually satisfied man is less likely to be aggressive and make rash decisions. Whether or not we choose to accept the notion that people cheat, it happens, and quite frankly, there are a lot worse things we can do to each other.

Yet, I bet you don't have a problem with Rudy Giuliani bringing his mistress home to his wife's house.
I wonder if the 2 ex-Mrs. Guiliani's consider their Mr. Giuliani to be a 'quality' man.
Same goes for the ex-Mrs. Fred Thompson.
What about the ex-Mrs. John McCain?
Or the 2 ex-Mrs. Newt Gingrich.
Quite frankly, I was surprised by the non-reaction by the current Mrs. Vitter over her husband, Senator Vitter hiring prostitutes.
Marriages can survive infidelity. Just because somebody cheats on their spouse doesn't mean that they are not a quality person.

Many people, conservative and liberal, believe that a president's private life doesn't affect his ability to do a good job. They also distinguish between their own private lives and the lives of public figures.
That's why the conservatives are running at least 3 men who were cheats: McCain, Thompson and Giuliani.

That's not what we meant. What they do behind closed doors is none of yours or my business and it shouldn't affect their jobs. When it affects their jobs is when it becomes our business and certainly when it's done in the oval office. Have a little respect for the institution that it is for Christ's sake! It's a proven fact that somewhere in the neighborhood of 85% of spouses will be unfaithfull at least one time. It'n not anything new. As long as I don't know about I am not forced to do anything about it.

the only thing about the presidents having extra marital affairs is morally wrong, but they were voted in to do a job, let their wives handle the private affairs.. just like at home.. if you are having an affair on your spouse would you want the whole world to know and put you in your place.. when you are a regular person doing this to your spouse then its upto your spouse to handle it.. not the entire world..

Liberal Woman have girlfriends..... OK you left the opening, I had to go through the door.
I think that any justification on bad behavior is for pure political Sabre rattling. I don't believe very many think it's OK, they just say that to support their party, and to further their own particular goals for that party. The old argument, well what's the big deal, or you guys did it first, or I didn't inhale. Simple excuses of bad behavior because you don't want to admit you were wrong or that this particular person is morally corrupt but that is OK because he/she is giving me want I want.
Edit: You see, these people actually prove my point, with well he is a lousy husband, but, a good leader. You want the republican list, it's bigger. What does his sexual activity have to do with him in the White House. It's private, none of our business. Well here is why it is our business, HE made it our business when he was involved in a sexual harrassment law suit and lied to a Grand Jury, it goes to his core, in that he made Hillary a promise, and he failed to keep it, the same guy that made us a promise and failed to keep it, as far as a lousy husband, good leader, nope, you have to have creadability as a leader and when you compromise yourself for personal gain, how can you expect people to trust you and follow you?. Now I led men for over 20 years, and believe me, if you want them to follow then you had better lead by example or when you look back, no one is there.

I simply adore how you people twist and turn and morph.
It's marvelous!
Let me translate for you:
What a man does in his personal life is none of your business, not related to politics, or relevant to foreign policy, environmental position, alternative energy ideas, etc..
******************************
EDIT: Is that so? Then, my good fellow - I hereby challenge you to produce said "no less than 98% of your lively-hood here at Yahoo Q&A deals with twisting and distorting just about anything you type."
Go ahead. I dare you. You people slander and libel anyone who disagrees with you, anyone who questions this government is fodder for your character assassination.
So I throw down the gauntlet.
I challenge you to find ONE post where I have been anything less than truthful.
I DOUBLE-DOG DARE YOU.
We'll wait.....
