I mean think about this. A guy who has no sense to turn his cell phone off during a movie then takes the call and proceeds to have a conversation. What sort of judgment is that? Oh yea, and he likes to wear a dress from time to time.

I just described Rudy Guliani. Would you vote for that guy?

Felons vote Democratic, national study says

If disenfranchised felons had been allowed to vote, they would have swung the 2000 presidential race to Al Gore, according to a national study Republicans are touting in their fight to overturn Christine Gregoire’s victory in last fall’s governor’s race.

The study posits that since racial minorities and the poor – groups that tend to vote for Democrats– make up a disproportionate number of felons, a hypothetical felon voting bloc would be so overwhelmingly Democratic it could swing national and statewide elections.

On average, 74 percent of felons would have voted Democratic in presidential and U.S. Senate elections dating back to 1972, according to the study’s analysis of demographic and voting data.

I had often wonder how come it's ok for someone to break into your house, get hurt and sue.. Where is the justice in that. What about when someone breaks in without a wepon and steal's from you. The only rights you have is to call the law because if you shoot the criminal than you will be put in jail because no matter what you do to protect your family it seems the law has to side with the guilty party instead on the innocent...How many people see a problem with that.

In Iraq protests almost never happened, in this country they protest for freedom and we let them die. Its a shame that real freedom fighters are ignored by larger powers.

Does she seriously think that only illegal immigrants commit these types of crimes? How come she doesn't care when US citizens do these things? Is she trying to generate resentment or is she just being annoying?

I've always wondered why there are no set size when it comes to numbers when talking about a military unit like squad, platoo, company, batalion, Division & so on. There just seems to be a wide range. Now I understand that it would of course be next to impossible to always have a set number but it just seems like you would have a smaller range with a target. For example schools have a target of a class size of say 25 but in some years class or schools the average could be above that or below & after a certain period of say having numbers above that goal then administrators might look into hiring another teacher or opening another class room if there's enough go justify such a move & if not then they might just leave it be. I'm just wondering why a division doesnt always have the same number of personel or even at times the same number of smaller units. I don't pretend to know details which is why I'm asking but 1 divison might have 4 companies & another 6.

Are they always as busy as they say or is this person just avoiding me? They always say sorry for not being in touch as they have been busy training for Afghanistan but feel deep down they might be avoiding me. Am I being unfair? Not sure what someone in the military really does.

Chicago, Ill. (CNSNews.com) - Leaving nothing to chance, Chicago area Democratic Party precinct captains were out in full force early Tuesday morning, canvassing Cook County cemeteries, morgues and mausoleums in a concerted voter turnout effort.

The dead have always been a critical factor in Chicago political calculus, and this year appears to be no exception.

The last-minute appeal seems to have energized the demised, as Cook County voter registration Monday exceeded 7 million - an impressive 237% of the adult population

china is rapidly growing as a world power, and with that so is their military.
they are already enhancing their fleet by develping blue-water ships, and have even admitted to be training hackers to shut down american communication in "total war".
and there was also that stunt earlier this year, or last year when they managed to shoot down one of their own sattelites with a missle that could easily be targeted at american sattelites.
so what do you think? it appears to me that they are preparing for war

In light of what Jack Straw has been saying, please answer A, B, C or D
If someone breaks into your house through the night, and you wake up and hear them but dont know if they are armed, do you

A: Sit tight and wait till they go to phone police.
B: Go and confront them with just your bare hands
C Use some sort of weapon to stop them, but not to excess
D Grab a baseball bat and beat them to a pulp

Personally, I think that once they cross my door, they are threatening my family and my property and they will get whats coming to them, and I would expect not to be charged with anything.

I ask this because in 2006 the left ran on stopping the War Now Obama and Hillary are talking about winning the quote unwinnable war. How will this effect the 2008 elections and the democrat party and or their majority.

I mean to run on peace and then deliver war is no change at all except for how is in power and increased taxes.
