Hate to put a damper on everyones views of the debate, but the only ones who lied is Richardson and Kucinich. Hard and real fact. We can not just pull out of this war, we need to do it in stages or we will see a massacre of our military as the try to board the planes to come home. And we need to bring our equipment back home as well, or it would be used to arm those who mean real harm to the region. The great part of this is that BUSH knows what he is leaving the next president and will not tell them what they will be left with. FACT.
Hillary winged it, and that was disgusting to watch, she knew nothing and followed everyone elses lead. I am pleased that Obama was sick with a cold, it gave him time to stand and watch how his opponents will eat you up when you are weak. This is the way to get strong, "slow down to speed up".

I think there is only one that is saying that he will truly pull out of Iraq immediately and not worry about the consequences, but I like what you stated that candidates have already gone back on their word to the American people from the last Senate election. Recently, even hillary has finally come out and said there will be substantial amount of troops left in Iraq if she is elected. So, your right, it is no change at all.
I think the one who should win the election is the one that can keep the political pressure on Iraq for a political victory and then bring the troops home.
Sorry, even I am doing what the politicians are doing. The troops will not come home, some will have to go to Afghanistan and some will go to Darfur.

First off, what is happening in Iraq isn't a "war", it is now a police action.
With that said, both parties know that pulling out now will just push Iraq into civil war, and most likely it would end up with another dictator just like Saddam. The Democrat's use their opposition to Iraq as political white noise, they make a big deal over it, but they know that we'll still be there even if they win. The Republicans are in a position of supporting Iraq to support the party and it's President.
US troops are going to be in Iraq for at least the next decade, get used to it.

Its fairly common, the two vote for somebody and get 4 extra years of what you have basically been via (perhaps worse, yet surprisingly uncertain, Bush at present has a 22% approval score, the worst ANY president has ever had, and however the Reps think of he's basically large) or you are able to vote for the different guy with much less journey yet secure in understanding he could desire to not F the country and the financial equipment over with a view to furnish oil agencies extra advantageous tax breaks.

If you are talking about the candidate who has won the most straw polls, that would be Ron Paul and yes he wants to stop the war, bring ALL the troops home and not get involved in any more aggressive wars.

Only way for America to bring it's troops home from Iraq and end the war is if we just pull everyone out and give up, but the US doesn't do that.
It's funny that people say bringing our troops home will end the Iraq war, but then they turn around and say it's civil war there? So, I must ask these fools... How will pulling out "stop the war" when they're fighting each other?

Republican Ron Paul is the anti-war candidate. He voted against the War in 2002 and he has never voted to continue it, ever. He also wants to get rid of the Federal Reserve and IRS so that the government won't have enough money to start future wars.

HAY! It's election time!
Democrats ALWAYS try to sound conservative around election.
They know they can't win if they tell the truth.
What do you EXPECT?
If elected, it will be back to extreme Socialism, extreme taxes, taking guns from honest Americans and restrictions on freedom of speech. Then Marxist style tyranny if they get a majority.
