Michael Scheuer, head of the CIA "Bin Laden Unit" said on the Bill Maher show that he didn't think either American life nor Dollars are worth spending on a policy that increases the risk to the American people. Since polls show that 90% of the Middle East doesnt approve of Bin Laden's vision for their region but roughly 70% approve of his attacks on American policies in the region (Including but not limited to Israel), one can safely say that Mr. Scheuer's implication has at least some basis. Our policies towards Israel does not bring us friends there, I would add however, that it is regardless of Al Quaida.

Mr. Maher believed both American dollars and lives are worth paying for Israel, as he cited it was a democracy. He on other occassions readily admits that we allow the most brutal of dictatorships to flourish with our approval if convenient for us, so I take democracy to be a weak argument.

It appears to me to bring more bad than good, so Y is it worth it?

the masonic order is bankrupt with trillions of dollars worth of bonds need to be repaid due to the waste of money on killing people in iraq and afghanistan, maintaining the gitmo nazi concentartion camps, and spending on new weaponry (of course others cant have nukilar weapons to ensure they couldnt defend themselves for the new invasions to come). After all this, can the masonic order afford a universal healthcare system? it is widely recognized that the order of death and destruction is completely broke.

Isn't being an American about more than simply being born here?
" If we who have the time and money to take to the streets don't do so,
then the people are going to think that everything is OK."
Peruvian university student protesting Alberto Fujimori's illegal election victory, April 2000
It is surprising to me that in such a militant and belligerent nation, the people are generally not so. But it is more surprising to me that people aren’t militant when it comes to a government so removed from the will of all but the monied few.
When the gov't effectively ignores petition for redress, as the bureacracy and electors ensure, how do the people peacefully revolt against what they are told is their duty to support? How do they peacefully reject their nationalist, pro-business, militarist oligarchy except by general strike?

*thank you Michael P.

Respect.

There wasn't any similar war since ww2 and all modern wars are fought in a "urban" or "guerilla" style.

Why has the law requiring 18 year old males to register for the draft not been challenged in federal court being sexually bias against males? Woman talk a big talk about equility, but I don't seen them supporting males in demanding equal rights requiring them to register.

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has stated that
will visit Ground Zero on Monday, September 24th
regardless of the denial of his request to visit the
site. His visit is slated to occur on Monday at 10:00
AM. As I know his country & government has been established as terrorists , his is suspicious to have deals with Al-Qaeda members, the UNO told him to stop unariun enrichment program (to make massive destruction guns) or at least decrease it, and what he did?? AND HE INCREASE IT !! and many many many other between violations to the human rights ond others. AND THIS A.S.S.H.O.L.E IS GOING TO NEW YORK ????. My question is: can he be stopped in US territory and make him go back, can Bush do something about it, or just because this terrorist is a powerful president can he do whatever he want???

Thanks for answer.
