AL Qaeda isn't really that special. All societies develop militant factions. In my life time Rep, and Demo have both become more and more extreme. With out a external focus all societies become self destructive.

I am thinking its time to disband both demo, and repub.

but then, three days later, abdul-sattar abu risha, leader of the "anbar awakening" (the guy george bush posed with in photo-ops) was assassinated. it became clear than anbar wasn't the bed of roses patreus said it was.

it is now known that the bush administration is actually paying off terrorists in anbar (with our tax dollars) to keep them from attacking us.
is this how a "decider" fights terrorism?
didn't he say he wouldn't negotiate with terrorists?
does this mean bush lied to us?
does this mean general patreus lied to us?
that he betrayed us?

It is a paradoxical situation that India is the greatest living democracy in the world with non-participation in elections by almost half of the 1 billion population. There are more than 910 political parties but only 50+ are eligible to field candidates in elections. It is found that educated people are back-stabbing democracy and are not exercising the voting franchise guaranteed by the Constitution of India. They are shirking their responsibility and the incorrect electoral list (dubbed by the Media as "the mother of all frauds") is being exploited by unscrupulous political parties. Participatory democracy is the only way, VOTE WE MUST to set right the decaying and corrupt democracy. This AIDS (Alarmingly Infected Democratic System) is curable through voting. I appeal to all Indians to take the challenge and be the change they want to see. Chak De VOTE INDIA. Local bodies elections are being held. Karnataka, India should show to the world what our votes can do.

I know I had childhood Asthma, only had an attack like once. I went to some specialist when I was about 12, he diagnosed me with Asthma. Even then I never used an inhaler. I am currently 17 and I still never use an inhaler, no point. I even occasionally smoke and I don’t suffocate or start coughing or wheezing, im fine. I know you can still join with childhood Asthma but, I honestly don’t know the last time I was treated for it; my physician was a sicopath, she use to proscribe inhalers for every cough I use to get. I am scared that if I disclose the fact I had childhood Asthma, they will check my records and find something I am unaware of. So do you think I should lie or be straight forward? I am also scared of the consequences of lying; I heard if one is caught lying they can get a felony on their recorded and a dishonorable discharge. Is that true? The last thing I want to do is F up my life, all I want to do is serve my country.

Thank You, Sorry if my grammar or spelling sucked, I am just in a hurry. Once again thank you for your time.

P.S Serious comments only, no anti Bush or anti war comments please. Just answer my question, thank you.

i am currently in Iraq getting ready to come home. I am supposed to ets about 1 year from when i get home. But on my LES they changed the date from december 08 to april of 09. They did it to a lot of people and said it was a mistake but its been 3 months and I don't think they are gonna fix it. I want out of the army. Are they already stop lossing me, or rather why would they change the date this early. I am mostly worried about being stoplossed for my units next deployment. which depending on where i go will be spring or summer of 09. But why would they change the date now?
