I have not heard any of the major Pres. candidates (Dems or Repubs) talking about restoring our rights, taken away by the Patriot Act: Have you heard any talk ? If so, by whom ?

Thanks, Joe

Today everyone was being kind of loud in the mall and I was trying to shop, so I blew my safety canned air horn. Everyone got quiet but the security guard told me if I ever did that again, he would arrest me because it was illegal. I BOUGHT THE THING IN THE MALL. How can it be illegal? Is this true?

In high school, and in college in the early '80's, the definition was different then than it seems to be now. The definition then was: Fascism is an economic system that allows private ownership of property, but the government controls all use of that property. I was also taught that fascism was only viable under two forms of government, a socialist government(Nazi Germany under Hitler) and dictatorships (Iraq under Saddam). These were two of the examples that I was taught.
I am not sure I understand "todays" definition, which seems to be conservatism.

It is very sad to see good hardworking illegal immigrants worrying about deportation. I know people who work and do everything a regular family does; family re-unions and go on trips. Why is this issue not being addresed on a different perspective view, amnesty should be awarded to SOME people. Those who have worked and have no felonies. Im not saying that everyone should get amnesty, but what im saying is that most illegals have worked and called themselves citizens espicially if they've been here 20+ years. Oh and another question can someone under the age of 18 get amnesty if they've been here since 1-2 years old and plan to go to college.? please don't give me any "marry a whiteguy, or invest in $1 million for a business(whichi think is the most retarded thing congress has done in the immigration problem)

Let's say that you come home, and you find someone having sex with your wife. He is not raping her, you can tell that they are engaging in consensual sex. But you still get very angry, and you start attacking the guy. You start punching him in the face, you bash his head into the wall several times, you smash lamps over his head. And he ends up dying.

Will you be charged with murder?

Let's say that someone breaks into your house, and you see them carrying a knife or a gun. They don't see you yet though, so they haven't attacked you yet. But you grab your gun anyways and you shoot them. They die.

Will you be charged with murder?

In your opinion, do you think that a person should have to serve in the military to have the right to vote? Do you think it would give people a greater appreciation of what rights they have? Do you think someone should have to serve to have any other rights given to them?

When Al Gore went to Saudi Arabia he told them the American government "abused" Muslims after 9/11. A reporter asked him what he ment by that comment and Gore said we expelled Muslims with expired visas. This he calls "abuse" after 9/11?

Then John Kerry goes saying our troops terrorize Iraqi women and children when they do their house to house searches.

Now, most of the democratic candidates (except for Biden) appear to show the same anti-military attitude in their silence. An overwhelming % of American's are against MoveOn.org's ad trying to assassinate the character of General Petraus.

Are the democratic candidates displaying the same anti-military, anti-American sentiment their predisessors did?

Officer brooks has a hunch that Sam Speed is dealing drugs out of his house; therefore, Officer Brooks decided to follow Speed around to see if he can prove it. Brooks observes that over a dozen people enter Speed’s house throughout the course of the day. Each person stays in Speed’s house for approximately 5-10 minutes before leaving, Brooks observes that one person, John Jones, exits Speed’s house with a brown paper bag in his hand. Brooks approaches Jones and asks him if he can see what is in the paper bag. Jones says “No” and keeps walking. Several blocks later, Jones throws the brown bag into the trash can and runs away. Brooks’s retrieves the bag from the trash can and finds, what appears to be, a rock of cocaine in the bag.
