Maybe true -- I don't know how self-sufficient they really were before, but sanctions don't appear to have significantly hurt them (based on what gets publicly reported).

True.

Its simple. They have oil. They sell oil for materials. They send their people to America to be educated and then start producing their own military and energy stock piles.

Sanctions only hurt the people, but then again the people wont overthrow the government so how bad is it really hurting them? I mean in America going to McDonald's is common. Not in Iran.

? not sure, it's hard to tell since the media in Iran is controlled by the regime, however I personally, believe the answer to be "False".

sure doubt the sanctions are working they just get everything from Russia. Smuggling is more effective now.
