You'll need to learn to talk for hours without saying anything of substance. You may also want to consider a weasel avatar.

well that would depend. do you want to be a Politician For the People? or BY the people?

If you are FOR the people, then run for any elected office, state your principals and Stick To Them.
Do What's Right not what's easy.

oh the other hand, if you are looking to be a politician BY the people, then simply sell your soul to the devil (If you believe in one) or to the liberal democrap party. going to a law school. majoring in double talk (aka double think), minoring in driving drunk and killing your girlfriend, lying, cheating stealing, (And all three for extra credit)... OH, and then move to Moscow during the cold war to polish up on your "international extra-marital affairs" (or current enemy-do-jour as with Hanoi-Jane or Syria-Pelosi)

after that elected office should be handed to you on a solid gold platter (as some vampires and other blood-suckers are allergic to silver) IF it's not STOLEN from your as your Birthright by some scum-sucking idiot that only JUST so happens to actually SMARTER than you are (aka 2004 and the bush-kerry "which is smarter" war... bush won by 4 I.Q. points over Kerry)

really, it's just a matter of SUBSTANCE over Style. You Choose, but Choose Wisely

Learn so speak hubristicly, loquaciously, and realize that you must also go to law school and be trained in the arts of spinning the truth. I became a politician at age 5. Learned to read at 18 months. You dont need school to lie and make people believe you.

you need to go to uni, study economics and law, then start lying alot. It helps if you are involved with a secret society of some description so you can form networks with other politicians. follow these simple steps and you will get there.

All you need is to get your name on the ballot. Most anyone can run. I know policitians who use to be nurses and masons and teachers. Then again some go to law school and become lawyers. Those are the ones you have to watch out for.

You must be a fast talking Liar with no conscience and think that your better than the people that you represent, and above all, take no responsibility for anything, always blame it on the other guy or better yet blame it on the other political party.
