I won't vote for him simply because he married a relative. In my culture, that warranted the death penalty. They can do that in the old country, but not here. Gross. At least we have the tight clan system to tell us who we can and can't marry.
Then there's the fact he's just not a decent leader.

Hehehe NYC gets attacked by terrorists and the Red States all run with their tail between their legs, like there's anything in a Red State worth bombing.
Anyway, Giuliani is running because he turned 9/11 into his own personal photo-op. He and Bush drew the most political capital from tragedy any politician ever has, no matter how bad taste it was. Giuliani is hoping he can get into the White House on the back of the NY dead.

Giuliani got a lot of free publicity just from being the mayor of NY when 9/11 happened. The press -loved- him and built him up as a great hero. Suddenly everyone in the country knew his name even though nobody in the country outside of NY knew anything about him. The best way to capitalize on his new fame was to run for president. Plus, with that kind of name recognition, it was easy for him to get a lot of campaign financing.
Now, of course, the media aren't being as nice to him, and people like you are wondering why he's running for president. I believe he is still leading the race, though, and part of the reason for that is, frankly, that the rest of the field is not all that stellar.

Rudy Giuliani is a liar. I don't care what good he did in NY. Hitler did some very good things for the German economy. Why would anyone trust someone when his own family cannot? They should be the #1 people who trust him. I used to say the same thing about Bill Clinton. Rudy is a democrat in elephant clothing. The only Republican candidate the DNC is worried about is Mitt Romney. He's the only one they have started an attack Mitt Romney web site. Why aren't they worried about Giuliani beating Hillary? Because politically they are one and the same. Unless of course you trust that he isn't lying? You'd be a fool to trust a word that comes out of his mouth. His family doesn't-why should you? And why would you trust Hillary to be president? If she trust's her husband (and she seems to even after all the cheating) she is a bad judge of character. We really don't need a bad judge of character in the white house.

You're not old enough to know how bad the crime was in NYC before he took office so you don't know of his big accomplishment that no one was capable of decades before.
No way would you ride the rail near dark. It was suicide.
I might add, before he fixed this, NYC wasn't looked on as it is today by most of the country. It was looked on as the crime capital of the world, whether you guys were getting a fair shake or not. People would turn up their nose about thinking of going to NYC.

Actually he married his 3rd cousin but divorced her when he found out she was actually his 2nd counsin. I guess if all of Rudy's family have the penchant for numerous marriages and plentiful affairs that he does keeping track of how exactly you are related to everyone would be difficult.

i also lived in nyc at 911. the transformation of the city was dramatic and positive and im sorry your upset that a liberal extremist didnt do it but that doesnt make it any less true. rudy was clearly responsible while the liberal elite sat on their hands and did nothing. he sees the same chances for cleaning up the liberal mess in washington and will do so if elected. as for weilding your massive 11 percent approval rating....go for it pal. and as for the alternative, why any sober sane individual would want a repeat of the clinton..."legacy" by a knowing willing participant baffles me.

Actually he reduced the crime in NY significantly...and did a great job leading the 9/11 recovery.
There's nothing wrong with marrying a cousin (as long as its not a 1st cousin).
We're all related genetically.

He wants to find out how many republicans are willing to betray their ideals to vote for a pro-abortion, pro-gun control candidate.
