Actually, the apartheid system was loosely based on the Indian reserves system in Canada.
Canada did not join the American revolution and became a beacon for loyalists (To England). Indians, French and English settlers fought to keep Canada British. As a result, the Canadian constitution was drafted stating English, French and Aboriginal peoples each founded separate nations within Canada. But the French and English agreed at least on one thing: There's no way they would be equal partners with the Aboriginals.
So this special system was created and reserves still exist today. Despite progress over the years, some of the living conditions on some reserves remain dismal, with high unemployment, poor access to electricity, clean water, etc...
At least there's a little evil coming out of Canada - One might worry they were space aliens for a moment.

Oppression of the minority or belittlement of a smaller "racial," social, or religious group is never the answer. We are all humans, and should be treated as equals. Apartheid was a disgusting period in our world's history, and could never be seen as a solution. Also, your question doesn't really make sense because Arabs and Jews aren't necessarily different- Arab people are an ethnicity whereas Jews are part of an ethnoreligious group. For example, my friend's family are Mizrahi Jews meaning they are descended from Jewish communities in the Middle East.

i don't think they got it from us. slavery was invented either in Africa, Greece, or Rome. slavery gave birth to discrimination. so this idea was around long before the U.S was even thought of.
