It really appears as if the rest of the world has decided our days as the lone superpower are numbered.China,Russia,Europe and Asia are all preparing for a world without American supremacy. They have begun to forge alliances and economic treaties that not only do not include the United States, many dismiss the USA as unimportant in the scheme of things.

We are stuck to Iraq while the rest of the world is moving on..

The incompetence of the neoconservatives has done what the USSR could not do,what Al Qaeda cannot do,and that is the defeat of the United States as the world's only superpower.

And the most hideous aspect to all of this are the millions who fell into line, screaming"traitor"at anyone who dared point oput the dangerous path they were taking, while along it was and is there arrogance and lack of foresight which is bringing on the end of American supremacy.

How can the right defend the damage they have brought on our country?

Ok, my wife is a server. She has to work one hour prior to her shift doing setup. Afterwards when she closes and cleans up, she spends another hour doing that. She only makes $2.15 during that time. Shouldn't she be paid normal min wage during those times. If so, what do you know to back it up.

Thanks,
Eric

We only have limited time to stop that vicious dictator in Iran from getting nukes and holding the world to ransom. America will never allow it and is going to strike hard.

Pentagon says it can destroy the Iranian miliatry in 3 days and can then take out there bomb making facilities.

I think we will be doing it in about 6 to 12 months. What say you?

When it comes to airports, people will always say "Ugh, we don't want it here. Build it somewhere else." But then the people in "somewhere else" say the exact same thing, and meanwhile there are planes circling overhead, low on fuel and looking for a place to land.

Unless people want to revert to the way we use to live in the 1800s and take a week-long train ride to get from New York to California (or a two-week boat ride to get from Washington to London), then everyone would agree that we need airports, correct?

Shouldn't the federal and state governments have the authority to build, upgrade, and expand public airports as necessary, with complete immunity to public opposition?

It's a virtual certainty that people are going to oppose expansion of an airport, but as unpleasant as it is, it needs to be done. Air travel is the backbone of the world economy.

Is this a cynical point of view?

Why do Republicans want it both ways? Why is Bill Clinton wagging the dog in 1998, but in 2007 Republicans want to say Bill Clinton didn't do enough on terrorism and fighting the Iraq problems?

I don't understand? Are they just being hypocritical?

I think this is a no brainer. Moveon.org's add only further lets us know that the surge is working and that Democats know it.
Success for our troops is defeat for our democrats . AND THEY KNOW IT!

Just you watch. As the situation on the ground gets better and better and better, the propaganda attacks on our soldiers and Bush will increase. As we begin to turn the situation around in Iraq and give the Iraqi's a chance at freedom and peace, the democrats and liberals and leftist Europeans' will only increase their assult against our nation.

Anyway, Petraeus is doing a great job - though there is still much to be done - and it seems as though George Bush is going to stand firm and do what we all know to be right. To win in Iraq.

We are going to win people - but it may take a few more years - lets give our support to our soldiers and our President!!

People don't realize a couple of things about Hillary Clinton. She's a mother and she raised a child, so she knows what that's about. She has a no-bullshit attitude. She's not afraid to say what's on her mind. And the one major thing that people are overlooking is that she's already been the first lady of this country. Her husband is also ,"BILL CLINTON", who was the president of this country. If she has a situation to deal with, is it not normal to ask your spouce what their opinion is? Together, the Clintons can bring this country back on its toes! A man with the last name of Hunt now owns the oil in Kirkuk. He's donated 35 million dollars to the Bush campaign. That's why we don't hear too much about Kirkuk. The Iraq war distracts the Americans from thinking about Kirkuk. It was on the news with the title of "BLOOD FOR OIL". We need the Clintons to stop stuff from happening that we're not even aware of. Bush's troop withdrawal is another distraction from Kirkuk. Any opinions?

Last night we were having a party at my house. It was 10.30 and a few of us were in the garden, the music was playing but it wasn't over the top.
A neighbour and his brother, walked in through the back gate, carrying a hammer threatening me with it and also threatened to put my head through a window if we didn't keep it down because his disabled son was trying to sleep.

I managed to calm the situation without a fight, we turned the music down and went inside which we would have done if they had just asked nicely.

What are my rights in defending my property?
If i had beaten the crap out of him in my garden would i face any consequences?
If a friend had beaten the crap out of him on my property would we face any consequences?
If we called the police would they take our side?
What are the rules on parties and music and how late you can have them?

that by stating there are 36 nations fighting together in a coalition in Iraq, that America is part of a larger conglomerate?

The facts are:

1) Originally was 36 nations but 16 have pulled out and it's now only 20.

2) Out of the 20 nations, the USA has 168,000 troops stationed in Iraq, the United Kigdom has 5,500 and the other 18 member nations COMBINED have under 5,000 troops total.

When the US is supplying approximately 94% of the fighting force, is it really a coalition?
