3-4 days? Wow, that's about how long it took to take Iraq.
But wait...we're still there in record numbers.
I'm not sure I want the Chimp in Charge leading another war.

Let's hope if we go after Iran we do not make the mistakes we made with Afghanistan and Iraq. We need to clearly define the mission(I vote for total annihilation). Not put troops on the ground, but instead use our superior fire power, both conventional and if needed nuclear. In a best case scenario no two walls would be standing from any building located in any city in the entire country. After a devastating slaughter we could then invite other islamic countries to either give up the gutter hate cult they worship or face the same treatment. Preservation if western culture would be assured if we act correctly.

Vicious dictator? How much do you know about Iran?
There's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He's a liberal university professor, elected by the Iranian people. He might be the guy you refer to. He actually has reached out to several countries for peace and many quotes like "wiping Israel off the map" are poor translations. He supports Jewish people, just not Israel taking out Palestine.
Then there's Ayatollah Khamenei. He's the real political and religious leader of Iran. He is definitely a bad guy. When Ahmadinejad lightened the restrictions on women, Khamenei overruled him. America cannot kill this man, a religious leader, without throwing the Islamic world into chaos.
The Pentagon can destroy the armed forces of Iran in a few days' airstrikes, but there's no need for it. They have just barely gained the capability to make the uranium to make bombs, and Russia is supporting their nuclear power technology. Russia wouldn't let us into Iran.
The majority of insurgents in Iraq are not from Iran, they are from Saudi Arabia, and are supplied by Saudi Arabia. Almost all September 11 hijackers were Saudi. But instead of putting pressure on them, we support them and pay Sunni insurgents who will bomb Shiite politicians we don't like. We're screwing up Iraq so so much.

Years is the answer, YEARS ..
if you remember this is what they said about iraq.. and look at you now up to your neck in a war you cant win. 6 years later
come on Americans dont swollow this sour note of lies from the top again. leave it up to the experts and youll be fighting a long drawn out war with the entire middle east .
you'll get your butt kicked and your country desimated finacially and in world respect and opinion.
the worst of it all is the world will say we told you so. and treat you with total indifference. you will diminish

Oh, oh, I get so nervous when something is this easy. Gives me a feeling that the chimp in charge is gonna nuke them. I remember the time when Israel took out the Syrian nuclear installation without any fuss and then went about their business as if nothing had happened, you would think the CIC could learn something of this. or is it too much to handle.

Didn't I hear the same refrain from the American Military about Iraq?. How many disasters and American lives are to be lost before these idiots are forcibly retired and hopefully some common sense prevails.

If they get a nuke and use it they would last minutes. Between Israel which has over 200 nukes and the US as their nuke take flight that would be the end of Iran. So you see is not about nukes. That's pure BS. we don't even need to invade the country to stop them from building a nuke we could just strategically bomb place of crucial importance to build the nuke without even entering the country.

Remember what that same bunch told us about Iraq, It would be a slam dunk. All we need is a few days and soon we will be marching down main street Baghdad with people throwing rose petals in our path. That was how long ago?
