As a muslim, how do you feel about it?

I am wondering what exactly is meant by 'because of muslims' as well.

Without understanding these two points, my opinion on it is really moot, as it is kind of a silly question about serious matters.

Pardon me for being honest but yes I do believe they came down because of Muslims.

I wish you would expound more if you believe some other reason, people or religion is to blame.

By the way, I am prejudiced against Muslims because of this. I went through JFK airport recently and felt very uncomfortable seeing many Muslim women dressed in their traditional head to toe garment (sorry but I forgot what they are called) with only slits for their eyes. No telling what they could be carrying under there.

Don't worry about calling me prejudiced. I think it's still legal in this country to have such private prejudices. But I think I have a basis for my feelings.

We do not read news reports of Catholic suicide bombers or Buddhist terrorists. Shinto priests did not fly those planes into the WTC.

Only Islam preaches martyrdom where you kill non-believers.

Christian and Eastern martyrs tend to just die without taking anyone with themselves.

But even if you can cite exceptions to those rules, the problem is that for every one Muslim that decries terror and violence against innocents, there are 10 000 silent voices.

The overwhelming silence of the Muslim world is viewed by the rest of the world as displaying tacit support for the so-called "radical fringe".

In North America for example, radical Christian anti abortionists or anti Semites are jailed for their various crimes BY THEIR CHRISTIAN PEERS.

There is no moral equivalent in the Muslim world.

The problem is less about Islam versus the West than it is simply time for all the people of Earth to stop believing in fairytale myths about a supernatural being that does not even exist.

Yes. But, it was because of Islamic Extremists. Not normal, everyday Muslims.

I do not blame all Muslims, in fact, I work with many everyday (it's Ramadan right now so I really feel bad for them. Being in the heat of Kuwait and not being able to eat or drink ALL DAY!).

It was radicals. Some of us know the difference.

19 of them to be exact. 19 pedophile-prophet worshipping lunatics who were dumb enough to believe that 72 virgins would want to have anything to do with dirty scum. You are part of the problem. I suggest you renounce the Islamic Death Cult while people still think you are the minority of the sect.

You tell me, Tarbash. When two airplanes hijacked by middle eastern lunatics shouting "praise be to Allah" crash into the WTC towers, what would you call it?

BTW, the first answerer might want to actually study the Crusades.

No. The people responsible could never be called true Muslims. Just like those participating in the crusades could never be called true Christians.

tx_trotter95: I have studied the Crusades. They were an effort by European Christians to take back the Holy land from Muslims. During the Crusades many "Christian" soldiers slaughtered many Muslims. Please explain to me how this is something a real Christian would do.

Go ahead and explain to me how I am wrong.

It was planned and executed by Muslims. This is a fact and cannot be denied. Does it make all Muslims evil. No.

It was done by Muslim terrorists. I tend to blame all Muslims because they do not condemn these religious fanatics. Peace
