What would be the right term in law if anybody injures or kills anybody unintentionally, specially for self-defence, or by unexpected circumstances that someone didn't plan beforehand and can't control it. Is it same as "Unintended consequence". In wikipedia the term doesn't mean what I'm really looking for. So, please help me to get a clear idea about this.

Thanks a lot in advance. Cheers.....

Less people on this precious planet would mean less pollution. Less people breathing, less cars being driven, fewer natural resources being used, less of a carbon footprint on this precious planet. Oh, an added bonus: fewer conservatives since they would be the only ones defending the USA.
Fewer people would mean a cleaner environment!!
Now, with High Priest Al Gore leading us, let's all fall prostrate and worship Holy Mother Earth.

And America's anti-war liberal majority actually set the agenda, instead of being marginalized by the corporations and imperialists in Washington?

I think FDR. He played a HUGE part in bringing us out of the Depression, even though his New Deal policies were not the biggest reason. World War II was, and he was a brilliant leader during World War II. He also did a lot, relatively speaking, at that time to foster civil rights. The only real gripe that I have with him is that scourge of Japanese prison camps. Otherwise, he was a flawless ruler.
PS: Neo-cons, America is where it is today only because of FDR.

Bush is now beginning to do what liberals have been trying to get him to do for a long time now.

This, after multiple independent reports that say that Iraq is not doing well, that it cannot stand on its own two feet, that its military is not strong enough to defend the country, that the government is unstable and not getting any better...

And Bush is trying to give the Republicans a boost in the next election.

Isn't that ironic?

I fought political bigotry against democrats and President Clinton when he was in office.
I have ethics. I do the same now with republicans and President Bush.

Why do we tolerate it?
"Because the other party does it?"
"Because someone did it to me?"
"Because they are wrong, because they disagree with me?"
"Because it is free speech and therefore anything I say should be treated respectfully and accepted regardless of content?"
"Because I am right and that gives me the right to treat others as 'guilty until proved innocent', call them names, or spread unfounded rumors about them?"

Would we tolerate it in any other aspect of our lives, or worse, associate with such people?

In a children's playground, yes, but in politics? Why? I understand that it would happen. Of course. So does murder.

But to tolerate it? To join in? Have you? Will you, tomorrow? Or will you fight it?

Is it the last great prejudice of our great country to be identified and shunned?

Is it part of you?
