There is absolutely NO reason to vote for Hillary, those people that quote Health Care need only to look at the other countries that have national health care. Those people in these countries that can afford to travel come to the United States because we have the best medical practices and they don't have to wait in line. I was watching the news the other night, Canada has a 17 week wait for people with serious medical problems, though you can take your dog to the vet and there is no wait at all.
That is pretty sad that your dog can get medical attention immediately and you have a 17 week wait.
Hillary is not 100% socialist, she is 50% socialist and 50% communist, here are a few of here quotes.
"We just can't trust the American people to make those types of choices.... Government has to make those choices for people"
(From the book "I've Always Been A Yankee Fan" by Thomas D. Kuiper, p. 20 - Hillary to Rep. Dennis Hastert in 1993 discussing her health care plan
"Many of you are well enough off that [President Bush's] tax cuts may have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to have to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
Hillary to her fellow liberals in a fund raising speech in San Francisco; SFGate.com 6/28/2004.)
"I am a fan of the social policies that you find in Europe"
(From the book "I've Always Been A Yankee Fan" by Thomas D. Kuiper, p. 76 - Hillary in 1996)
"We are at a stage in history in which remolding society is one of the great challenges facing all of us in the West."
(From the book "I've Always Been A Yankee Fan" by Thomas D. Kuiper, p. 119 - During her 1993 commencement address at the University of Texas)

Because she is the best candidate available to us in my opinion. She's qualified, she's brilliant, and she's got exactly what it takes to run this country. She's not a socialist. Hillary is a good old fashioned capitalist. I don't need to "grab a dictionary" though I do think that most of the people who call her that need to look it up. Supporting UHC does not make her a socialist. Why should I withhold my vote because her husband was President six years ago and the Bushes have been in twice? She isn't Bill's siamese twin and she has capabilities, qualifications, and qualities all her own that make her a great candidate for the Presidency.
I'm not a Democrat, but an Independent. One of the swing voters that helped decide the midterms. Nothing has changed to even tempt me to consider voting for another Republican and she is clearly the best choice from either side in any case.
EDIT: To Jim, right above me.
Well, you'll have a chance to find out if she has a good plan, she unveils it on Monday, so don't write her off yet :-).

It astonishes me that you would object to Hillary and go along with Bush... and don't tell me you don't support Bush because the people who all rant against Hillary ALWAYS forgive Bush his worst infractions. But as you note, only two families have been running things for the last decade or more, and that's wrong, so that indicates that at least you're paying a little attention.
I won't vote for Hillary in the Primaries, but if she ends up getting the nomination and is running against ANY of the knuckle-dragging warmongers the GOP is putting up I will.
And at this point, you can deal with your fear of socialism any way you want, I personally think the system we currently have in our economy bites major bisquits and has zero relation to free market capitalism.
The corporations have made this country a semi-fascist state, and that's the word used properly, because as Mussolini said, the true name of fascism is corporatism.

Actually Hillary's plan is Universal Health Care and not Socialism as many republicans try to call it. The plan actually involved a great deal amount of competition and it would help lower prices, but I dont think she smart enough to come up with a good enough plan and a free market solution is better.
So, I am not voting for Hillary.

They are fond of trisexual scorpios? On a somewhat more mature note, both parties are owned by the NWO, as is most of the planet.
The cabal of "elites" which at mid level numbers among it the clintons and the bushies, has an agenda involving world domination -- owning everything and controlling everyone. Really. If they were 6 years old it would be merely cute. But they're not, and it's not.
They need to be dealt with before they kill most of us and destroy the planet.

You get 2 for a million. With Hillary as President, we get the awareness and wit of bill. you realize he would be perfect there by using her area working issues. He balanced the fee selection, he placed extra law enforcement officials on the line (which Bush took away), etc. etc. additionally, we could have instantaneous credibility with distant places leaders - all of them understand and prefer the Clintons.

For the record, in case anybody hasn't grasped the concept yet, Socialism is not the same as Communism (OK, am I going too fast for anybody here? Everyone with me?)
Also, Socialism has nothing to do with the Nationalist Socialist Party of Hitler's Germany - they were not socialists at all, but were fascists.
Fascists are people who start wars so their big business industrialist friends can make money and use minorities to scapegoat all the countries problems (sound familiar? It should.)
The "socialist" part of the name of the Nazi's was leftover from before Hitler's time with the group, and he murdered all his fellow party members who believed in socialism, but kept the name simply because it was well-known (and to deceive the public about his true plans).
Anybody saying Socialism is the same as Nazi-ism is an idiot, including Ann Coulter.

The corporate choice for '08 a Socialist?
the only thing close to a Socialist in this race is Kucinich, and unfortunately, the corporate media is seeing to it that he is all but ignored.

I'm pretty liberal, and I do NOT support Hillary.
With 300,000,000 people in the US, we should be able to find someone to be president who last name is not Bush or Clinton.
If the news media was really paying attention, they woudl be taking closer look at Bill Richardson. He is a pretty impressive candidate.

It's certainly time for a name change. For the lemmings out there who are inclined to vote for Clinton it's either because of genitalia or name recognition.
They see this opportunity for women. It doesn't matter to them that she's morally corrupt, inexperienced, a poor decision maker, or an opportunist, it's simply that they want to see woman win, for a change.
I would too, but please put someone up there who is qualified, and if not, at least give us someone who has moral fiber and honesty, as part of her portfolio !
