Bush is now beginning to do what liberals have been trying to get him to do for a long time now.

This, after multiple independent reports that say that Iraq is not doing well, that it cannot stand on its own two feet, that its military is not strong enough to defend the country, that the government is unstable and not getting any better...

And Bush is trying to give the Republicans a boost in the next election.

Isn't that ironic?

He CLAIMS that this was his plan from the beginning. We all know that he is giving into public pressure. His GOP is falling apart. They were the "Kings of the Castle" only a few years ago; now, especially with the sex scandals, they are seen as liars and dupers by the public.

Like your bikini top, your brain is small, too !

Nothing you have reported has been hidden from the public, for the last year. There are no new revelations in what you have reported. The president has known for the last year that al Maliki plays both sides against the middle. He's known that sectarian government can't possibly succeed in Iraq. Short of tearing down the government ourselves, our hands are tied. Tearing down the government would certainly distance all our middle eastern allies from the US, so it's up to the Iraqi people to determine the path to good government, although I doubt they are capable of making this correction.

If your reference is about the troop reduction issue, the Pentagon is a master at disguise. you may think you're seeing troop reductions, when all the time you are seeing increases.

just following the Rove playbook you know scare the American people by bringing out a new Bin Laden tape, remind the public that I and my party are the only thing that is keeping you safe so the Republicans can gain some ground and people will say oh let me give up some more of the consitutition so i can be secure

Its amazing how much power election time has to convince even the "most strong-willed people who stand up for what they thing is right", to change their minds, isn't it?

No, sorry you do not understand what is going on but the only reason Dem's are pushing is elections are coming and they do not want to see an chance of change in Iraq. It is all Politics and the liberals want us to fail in Iraq and care little about our fighting men there. Peace

It is ironic and pathetic. It is simply more evidence that ALL politicians are more concerned with winning elections than they are about the very lives of US soldiers.

The majority of the report was pretty good and there was progress. Now I know as a liberal you have the memory of a gnat, but the President all along has stated that when the commanders on the ground make a determination that less troops are needed, that we will reduce troops. We are only reducing down to pre-surge levels, by the way. When will a liberal ever get it right. Are you all this stupid?

Get rich quick schemes in the capitalist business world, (buyouts, IPOs, conglomerates, acquisitions, mergers, and the stock market), do not actually work. Remaining solvent does not actually exist within false economics capitalism.

Profit existing in the capitalist business world, or millionaires existing within capitalism, is pathological deception committed by the 21 organizations spying on the population with plain clothes agents, (with covert fake names and fake backgrounds).

Actual economics is the persons paying the monthly business loan payments of companies voting at work in order to control the property they are paying for.

Capitalism is the psychology of imaginary parents, false economics, and the criminal deception of employees that are paying the bills (including the stocks and bonds, or shares) of companies.

Anti-democracy republicanism is the psychology of imaginary parents and false government.

Why not just acknowledge Bush is an idiot, and go from there.

As far as Republicans go, they have no chance to win next year.
