Thanks Com. Jim-But I already looked that up. Clearly.. as you can read, it's not 35 nations.

CJ- You're incorrect. This is what Bush said in his speech on Sept 13, 2007....and I quote-

"We thank the 36 nations who have troops on the ground in Iraq and the many others who are helping that young democracy."

Again I ask...what 36 nations are on the ground as Bush stated in the speech?

You know, countries like Neverland, Fairyland, and the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.

The same ones that all said Saddam had WMD, and provided Bush with his "darn good" intelligence.

The statement by Bush was a bit of a stretch of the truth to say the least. I believe there are only 25 other nations involved but besides the US 168,000 troops, the other 24 countries have only about 5 or 6 thousand total. To call that any kind of coalition is ridiculous. Bush should have been red faced ashamed to make such a statement but then again he is so use to making exaggerated statements and out right lies that it does not seem to even phase him any longer.

The facts are:

1) Originally was 36 nations but 16 have pulled out and it's now only 20.

2) Out of the 20 nations, the USA has 168,000 troops stationed in Iraq, the United Kingdom has 5,500 and the other 18 member nations COMBINED have under 5,000 troops total.

When the US is supplying approximately 94% of the fighting force of the coalition, is it really a coalition?

Here is a link to all of the member nations:

Actually it is 26 other nations. Many of them have less than 10 people each in Iraq. I believe that Iceland is recalling their one war correspondent which will bring the coalition down to 25 other nations.

Bush asked his aide to look out the window and see how many soldiers were helping us out. The aide looked and said, "I see a Brazilian, Mr President". Bush figured that many had to be about 35 nations.....

I do not know i thought that it was only Britian and Spain with them pulling our their troops, Canada already has and so has Italy maybe he means Japan but that is hardly 35 he must be referring to Desert Storm from his father's time but then you do not have to see anything but his lips move to know he is not telling the truth

Don't blame Bush, he is embolden to produce these disgraceful statements because of the people to whom he is addressing them.... Lemmings and Sheeple. The rest of us know better.

Our media doesn't tell you this because we need to control the information flow. If we didn't we wouldn't have a chance in the coming elections. That's why we support the fairness doctrine. We can't afford the truth to come out.
