Less people on this precious planet would mean less pollution. Less people breathing, less cars being driven, fewer natural resources being used, less of a carbon footprint on this precious planet. Oh, an added bonus: fewer conservatives since they would be the only ones defending the USA.
Fewer people would mean a cleaner environment!!
Now, with High Priest Al Gore leading us, let's all fall prostrate and worship Holy Mother Earth.

We are against the war because it's election time. After the election we will suddenly get enlightenment and say we have to stay in Iraq for the same reasons the Republicans say we need to and pretend it was our idea all along.

War is in our human nature but it should never be taken lightly. There have been times throughout history when war was the only recourse left, however it should never be the first response and it should only be acted on when ALL else has failed.
I doubt if you will find anyone, liberal or conservative, that would argue this point.

because wars costs huge sums of money, that someone eventually has to pay for. This means higher taxes. you can't be pro-war, and anti-taxes. We are not anti-war, just anti-useless war, that isn't solving anything but the problem with slumping weapon manufacturer stocks.
Then after all the money is spent, it is usually realized that it was unnecessary in the first place.
want to spend a few hundred billion on war, spend it going after the root of the problem, not the leaves.

"fewer conservatives since they would be the only ones defending the USA."

Liberals are NOT anti-war. We were all for invading Afghanistan to get the Taliban.
Liberals are anti THIS war, the Iraq war, a contrived conflict based on lies and innuendo with an opponent that we had no cause.

You don't need to be pro-war to get rid of humans.
Being pro-war sucks equally for everyone.
What about all the pollution that is all around us now??
We would need humans to manage it, regardless of any additional environmental hazards they would continue to impose.

Who in their right mind would ever be pro-war? Not even the soldiers who fought in WW-II were pro-war.There is nothing glorious about killing people or watching your military family members lose their lives right next to you. Non-sociopaths go to war because they have to, not because they want to. While others choose to invade countries such as Iraq.

Liberals aren't those "You have to break some eggs to make an omelet" types that conservatives have seemed to become.
