Iraq is! If we lose there, there won't be much left here to educate.
At best, we will be cut off from the oil there by other hostile forces filling the vacuum we leave. Effectively cutting off our supply. You may want alternative energy sources, but for now, it's oil. Without it, you starve and freeze.
Even worse, terrorists will be coming here and destroying our infrastructure and killing our citizens.
Or worse than that, both scenarios at the same time.
Just because we withdraw doesn't mean the war is over. We were at war all through the Clinton administration only, he didn't fight back.
Education is a luxury right now, security is of paramount importance at this moment in history.

I think we should get rid of the department of education, overhaul the educational system and get rid of any and all teacher's unions.
I think fighting terrorists should go above education because if they win this war, education will be the last thing we miss about the good ol' U. S. of A.

Iraq is education and that's why so many liberals don't want to go fight for their country. I've already put my time in the military and I think it's sick that people are too cowardice to do their country that service.
What teacher can teach you the real street smarts in a school. I personally know way too many people who are book smart but stupid as hell when it comes to street smarts.

That this is even a question shows our irresponsibly overemphasized the Iraq War is. It's a decoy. We focus on Iraq because it makes us feel soo strongly.
Of course education is more important.

As anyone with a triple digit IQ knows now, and many of such knew from the start, Iraq is a complete fubar boondoggle intended to make cheneybush and their psychopath friends even richer. Here's an interesting article on point: http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=6783 Hopefully, they'll get what they deserve :))

education, health care, border patrols, police, fire deparment, bridges, social security, etc....they are all more important to me than pissing away money in an immoral cherry picked intel oil inspired war of choice. Clearly education needs to be better so we can have more clear thinking american citizens. Suffices to say our education currently puts out too many morons willing to follow other morons who hate their guts and laugh at them over the precipice of catastrophic calamity.

The communist teachers and unions have a stranglehold on education. The only thing that will fix that is regime change.
