It depends upon what his initial goals were I suppose.

If they were to:

Invade sovereign nations without cause and bring about the deaths of many tens of thousands of innocent people . . . .

Bring about the greatest increase in radical terrorism in human history . . . .

Trash the booming economy that he inherited from Bill Clinton . . . .

Divide the American people like no time in history other than the civil war.

Then yes - he's been very successful.

Good work, I believe your well researched list covered all the many achievements of the George W. Bush Presidency. I honestly believe you didn't forget anything.

Hmmmm. If it weren't all so tragic it would be almost amusing. The depth of the greed, folly and sheer shortsightedness and stupidity exemplified by the actions of the planet's "elites" is mindboggling. Here's a good article that covers their intentions in Iraq, and generally. May they all rot in hell. http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=6783

Yes your list is quite generous in listing his "successes". His entire life has been like that.

The scariest thing about this question and the majority of the answers is that these people get to vote. As far as The presidents successes, The truth is that over 60% of americans claim to be better off today than they were 10 years ago...Think about it.

You forgot a few things, just to name a few, Pre-9/11 the Bush administration justice department caught the largest child porn ring in the united states to date.
Post 9/11 With the Republican controlled congress, passed the USA PATRIOT Act. The Anti-Money Laundering provision have gone a long way in fighting terrorists activities and that of narcotics smugglers.
The responce to Afghanistan and Iraq convinced the Libyan government to surrender it's nuclear and chemical weapons capabilities.
The jerk who killed Leon Klinghoffer was captured in the invasion of Iraq. He was captured before but the Italian government let them go and then he made his way to safe haven in Iraq. LTC Ollie North was the guy who coordinated his original capture. Can't remember the name of the terrorist but it is some arabic jibberish.
Saddam Hussein, he has been a thorn in our side. President Clinton wanted to get rid of him but didn't take any positive steps to do it, President Bush did. How long do you think Saddam's neck stretched?
My personal favorite is; the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan has shown the muslim world that allah is no match at all for American military power and the culture that produced it. Maybe we can get the backwards medieval muslims into the 21st century. Being nice to them hasn't worked. It will be to their benefit in the long run, just look at Germany and Japan now. Do you think our UAW workers will be able to compete with Iraqi auto manufacturers in the future?
