The plane he was in was only in the air for about 5 minutes, and the aircraft carrier was docked.
Was that NOT propaganda?
Do you think him prancing around like a little soldier made light of those who take that job seriously?

did you get all teary eyed or did you find that to be an obvious PR move.

100 men held off 2,500 on 18 August 1966 at the Battle of Long Tan. D Company 6 Battalion Royal Australian Regiment encountered 2,500 NVA Regulars preparing to assault the newly lodged 1 Australian Task Force, a Brigade Group at the 1st Australian Task Force Base at Nui Dat, Phuc Tuy Province.

D 6RAR caught the enemy on a flank as they were forming up for the assault in a rubber plantation near the village of Long Tan. In the hours that followed the Australians fought of successive waves of NVA furious at being discovered and fanatical in their response.

1st Australian Task Force equipped all its Artillery and with 155mm artillery under command more than 3,500 rounds were fired in support. Small arms ammunition was almost gone until two RAAF Hueys pilots disobeyed orders and made a suicidal flight to resupply D 6RAR. As last light fell APCs from A and C Co. crashed into the enemies flank countering a four wave enemy assault, with .30 and .50 Brownings blazing. God Bless Diggers!

In Cuba, Fidel and Raul erect themselves; in the US we elect Bush the father and his sons. So what is the difference??? it is overt dictatorship versus covert dictatorship, dude.

I know this is long, but when Reed gave the Democratic response to the president's speech, he said that a different strategy was needed in Iraq. He also said that we need a rapid withdrawal of troops, and we need to train the Iraqi's to protect themselves. Well... what is that different strategy I keep hearing about? Do the Dems actually have a strategy at all besides cutting and running? Also, how do the Dems expect to train the Iraqi's to protect themselves if we are not over there to train them? Is that not what we are doing right now? How will a rapid withdrawal of American troops benefit our nation and the rest of the world? What will be the result of a rapid deployment according to the Democrats? Why haven't the Dems addressed these logical, common sense questions that have already been asked of them by the Republicans? Why isn't our "unbiased" media addressing these questions?

we are taking him to vegas in 2 weeks, we are hoping to find some girls who would be "sober" enough to just go through the Drive-Thru Wedding Chapel. so he can stay in US and file for an extension. he's 19 and on his student visa. Will it work? or is there a underground service in vegas, that girls would get married for money?

I am a senior in high school. I've always had trouble in school. Never with my academics, but mainly the rules. I feel as though i have no rights when i go to school. As if they could make any rule they wanted to on the spot and i would have no choice but to correspond to it or i would suffer the consequences. I'm not talking about normal rules like no fighting etc. for example.

1. The students at my school are expected to wear an I.D badge around their neck every day. If you are to lose this I.D then you have to buy a new one or you have to pay for a temporary one. If you cannot pay when it comes time to graduate you will not graduate. When did it become okay to charge students in public school so the school could profit?
2. If i don't turn my homework in the day it is due i have to spend FOUR HOURS of my time after school one day. Since when did it become okay to force students to go to school extra time?? Some of us can't do that we have jobs!

Hey, I have a degree (just graduated) and have not been able to find a job. The Officer Candidate School for the branch I was looking at (CG) is not reviewing people for a long time.

Would it be a mistake to enlist as regular enlisted? Would I be paid better having a degree at 24 than I would have without one enlisted at say 18?

I'm trying to create a game that involves using characters that have been copyrighted by large companies such as Mario from Nintendo, Konata from Kyoto Animation, and Haruko from Gainax. I will not sell copies, claim ownership to these characters, or otherwise profit from this project. I will give credit to each character's respectful copyright holder and distribute the completed game at no cost.
Will this violate any laws or regulations in the US? If so, what should I do to not violate US law and regulation?
