The plane he was in was only in the air for about 5 minutes, and the aircraft carrier was docked.
Was that NOT propaganda?
Do you think him prancing around like a little soldier made light of those who take that job seriously?
did you get all teary eyed or did you find that to be an obvious PR move.

Where to begin.... The USS Abraham Lincoln does not carry Harrier AV-8 jump jets. The plane was a S3-V Viking it lands in a trap. Trap landings only occur at sea while underway. The ship was too far off the coast for a helicopter so he was in the air for longer than 5 minutes. He was on a ship so he could not "prance" like a soldier, he should be a sailor and sailors DON"T prance.
You need to do a little research about the antics of Bill Clinton during the commeroration of D Day in 1994. Why are you worried about what Bush does on a flight deck anyway? Was that your ship? Did you serve? Have you earned the right to complain?
One man's propoganda is another man's PR.
By the way, the banner was ordered by the Welfare and Rec committee not the White House.
Hey Naked, George HW Bush came out to the Persian Gulf in 1990 and helo'd out to the amphibs to have Thanksgiving Dinner. Chip off the ole block.

Landing a fighter jet is the hardest part. Anyone can cruise the thing. I commend anyone who can land on a carrier. I would never even try it. Oh, and I don't fault the President for building public relations (PR). It's kind of an important part of his job.
At least President Bush flew a jet to gain PR, instead of just interrupting an Al Gore speech by taking a ridiculously long time to walk down a hallway.

i did no longer see any "prancing." Are you constructive you realize what the observe potential? Gosh, i'm constructive the NYTimes is being purpose, in contrast to helps Democrats and not Republicans or something. Are they those utilising the observe "prancing?" i do no longer see how the flight healthful grew to become right into a concern. He grew to become right into a flyer in the nationwide shelter, you realize, and he did get to the airplane service by using flying, for this reason the "flight healthful."

You see, Democrats hate the military, and Bush is a Republican and Republicans actually support the military.
This is an irrefutable fact just based on Y!A posts by liberals alone as well as the many anti-America statements made by many high ranking treasonous Democrats from enemy soil.
Bush is a pilot and so he flew out to greet the troops on that ship because he is their Commander In Chief, their highest ranking superior military officer. The mission accomplished statement was referring to himself for successfully flying out and meeting them at sea and landing on the ship.
What is a President supposed to do put a daisy in his hair and cry and say we're all gonna die and get us all bummed out as a nation?
Terrorists attacked us on 9/11 and Bush had to do something positive and upbeat at that point in time that he landed on that flight deck. It's what Presidents do.They also accept an enemy like Bin Laden when someone offers him up on a silver platter to them on several different occassions ,unless of course they are a mentally ill fascist like Clinton.

I don't recall any prancing. The flight was more than 5 minutes, the Carrier was not docked. I think no other President has taken it upon himself to come out and see the troops like he has. It was excellent for morale.
A PR move? Uh were there cameras there? yes? Then yes it was a PR move. duh. So what?

I guess I don't understand what the point is. Are we supposed to think he is cool now? I am tired of politicians. Every story I see on the new just seems contrived to keep our attention off of what they don't want us to see. I have yet to see anyone bring up the subject of the North American Union in the presidential race.

what flight deck, the aircraftcarrier fly deck were he landed some years ago on the plane?
please get a clue, the carrier was NOT docked, an aircraft carrier has to be going full speed against the wind to conduct fly operations, and land planes, so no it was not docked!
so please, get a clue!

As someone in the military who was in Navy Aviation, I find your attitude really unbelievably juvenile. You obviously have no concept what it takes to be a fighter pilot.
