or you're political ideology for that matter?

Try; Posting certain questions does incite anger from opposing viewpoints, who in turn send malicious emails. That was the position of this question.

I haven't had malicious e-mails, but I have been targeted for violations on very vanilla questions. I'm hoping this new abuse policy will stop that. I also had to make my profile private. Some people take this stuff way too seriously. It's just a debate. If you don't like the question or the person asking you don't have to play.

People are allowed to disagree. That's why this is America.

Oh I have been called several names most of them not proper for civilized conversation. I usually write them back asking what in particular they feel I am wrong about and ask to resolve the issue through discussion. They never reply...

I do get some very nice e-mails also however, even from people who disagree. Usually it is either saying they enjoyed a certain response or that they disagree with a certain response because of (insert reason here). Those can be quite interesting and enjoyable to read.

Nope, i have never received a malicious e-mail over my political beliefs after posting a question or answer.

It's probally because i post facts and back them up,

And don't post unsupported rants.

Asking a question is hardly "stalking". What approximately your would desire to troll my yahoo identity and ask different questions approximately YA approximately me? isn't THAT "stalking"? "status on your kitchen along with his pants down around his ankles." WHY do you insist on posting your queer fantasies approximately me once you recognize that i'm a heterosexual guy and you haven't any longer have been given any probability with me?

No, I turned my e-mail off. I leave my opinions here, you want to call me on something spend the five points. I don't want my e-mail spammed or flooded by someone who has a differing opinion and can't use anything other than threats or attacks to make themselves feel better.

I've heard of some people sending others viruses a while back...

I pretty much block my email for these reasons...

I don't understand why anyone would have anything more to say than you can say on here? most of the time it seems to be pointless insults... which would get them reported on here, so they do it in e-mail...

Yesterday I took a guy to task for calling someone "*****" - this idiot could even spell his epithet correctly.

Sure enough, I was the one who got reported to YA for abuse.

And sure enough, like most of the reactionary idiots who post similar messages, he doesn't list an email address.

Sometimes I wonder why I even bother.

Not recently, but I did before. Someone sent me a flood of e-mails calling me a "homosexual loving libturd". Not that things like this really bother me. People like that make me feel better about my debating ability, my maturity, and my beliefs.

Pathetic that some people can't handle an opposing opinion.

So far, so good ... Most were well mannered and respectful, but some were smart ellicy too...To date, I've only received one email which was a hate-filled rant by a Liberal, concerning my Chrisitianity.
