I remember there were 5 candidates and Ban was the only one who couldn't speak English : maybe that's why he got the job.
There was an Indian bloke whose English was absolutely breath-takingly brilliant, with thinking to match. He even worked for the UN. Trouble was he came from the wrong continent : Korea is bang in the middle of where it's happening now and in the future : despite Britain's loyal boostering, India is unlikely to catch China this century.
But what a sad come-down this inarticulate, circular-thinking Asian is, after big chief Kofi Annan, the most impressive UN Secy-Genl of all.

you have heard the saying "all pi** and wind" that is arguably an essential quality of the modern day politician unless you can show an earth shattering good deed or clever way of bringing a method to improve the world situation he can be as articulate as he likes if you think about it that is probably the reason he got the job in the first place Talk is cheap

I thought you were talking about Bush We know he isn't articulate or smart! That's why the Vice President runs the country! Bush doesn't read!
