Maybe it is naive, but after looking a sample viewings from Google Earth, I was wondering whether a better resolution image is available for our military intelligence, that is real time.

If so, then it would seem ideal that citizens who are veterns with family members in Iraq be given security clearance to pair up with military units to watch out for potential trouble.

There is also an analogy of Iraq terroist problems with crime in the US. Years ago in some cities the common practice to solve homicide cases was for the detective to find out who did it, and issue an arrest warrent. No one was given the actual task of hunting, seeking, and arresting the suspect. This allowed the same murderer to operate indefinitely. Reform of this flaw lowered murder rates.

If better 'Google Eyes' are available, that can help protect our troops, then we should not keep these tools away from qualafied American Citizens.

First, why am I doing this? Because while I certainly do not expect everyone to agree all the time, it would be really neat to illustrate which side of this is actually closer to reality.

No cheating! You are not allowed to look it up! The idea is to compare perception to reality.

First assignment:

Did Iraq possess WMD? (Primarily that would be Biological, Chemical and Nuclear weapons)

Bush gave a speech outlining the reasons he felt military action was justified against Iraq. From what you believe to be true, what did he give as the reasons?

According to various sources, among other things Bush went AWOL and dodged his responsibilities while in the National Guard. Is this true? What proof of this was offered? Does the proof offered support the claims?

Does either party have a convicted sex offender serving in Congress? If yes, which party?

If anyone has suggestions for topics please include at the end of. I'll answer them with sources after the question closes.

to put out a fire and after it is all said and done you find that your valuables are missing? I used to hear stories that firemen are thieves but recently I had it happen to me where I had a small basement fire. The Yonkers Fire Department showed up, extinguished the flames and left. A hours later I noticed that some of my jewerly was missing. They went through the whole house checking for what they called "extension." Anyone else have a similar story?

Not sure what to do, it is a substantial amount of jewelry that has since gone missing.

My friend's brother has been looking for job for a while and he has gone for lots of interview, however, he did not get any of them. The interviewers usually said that they are going to do a background check and let him know. My friend's brother thinks that he doesn't get the job because of the background check. The fact of the matter is that a while ago a misdemeanor case was filed against him, which was later DISMISSED/DISPOSED. Although he wasn't convicted, will this show up in background check ? Will it matter ?

after I made it clear in a previous question that Bush was warned in advance about 9/11 (which is why he continued to sit in the Florida classroom looking guilty), I recieved a response by someone, most likely an ignorant liberal, who insisted that Bush continued to sit in the classrom NOT because he felt guilty for ignring warnings about the attacks, but rather because he had not been "told" what to do or how to react. And as if that were not incriminating enough, I am now being told that Bush was TOLD to go to Iraq!!! And yet not only is Bush himself trying to make it look like it was his own decision, but Americans are blaming him for the war. So which is it here? Is it that Bush was told to go to Iraq and he thinks it is a good thing to be there, and therefore he is taking the credit for deciding to do it? Or is it that he decided to go to Iraq entirely on his own, in which case we have a right to blame him for it?

Rosie O'Donnell's new "book" outlines here severe mental disorders, going so far to tell how she used a bat to break bones in her body so that she could get attention. This seems to explain, if not justify, her loony left positions. Only someone mentally disturbed could expect to share such information and expect to have any credibility on social issues. She and ex-lesb Anne Heche should get together to form a support group. But her insane and paranoid ramblings on 9-11, Iraq and other political issues should be seen as what they are, the rantings of a disturbed woman in need of therapy.

You know how the big argument for keeping illegals are that they do the work average Americans wont do. However if the pay was fair (at least minimum wage, hazard pay, over time, ect) would you do the work they do?

Do you think some of the homeless and/or poor legal American citizens would do these jobs if the pay was fair as well?

I know when I was in high school I would done these jobs in a heartbeat. Fresh air, getting some sun, sweating, perfect for a growing teenager.

I just saw a video that shows the Bush Administration not only knew we were going to get attacked, on September 11, 2001; not only allowed it to happen; but were the main force in organizing and financing it.

The Truth and Lies of 9/11
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8797525979024486145&q=truth+and+lies+of+9%2F11&total=662&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=0

It was very convincing and fully documented, but what can we do about it ?

Person A is murdered. Person B is at the scene. Person B is not charged with murder at the time. Person B is charged with littering at the time of the crime. The littering ticket states that 'after Person B murdered Person A, person B littered'. Person B pays the ticket. After an investigation, Person B is charged with murdering person A.

Would person B be able to stand trial for murder? When he paid the littering ticket he pled guilty to the crime listed in the complaint and therefore indirectly pled guilty to murder. It would then be impossible for him to defend himself because he had already pled guilty. Is this possible? Would it be double jeopardy?

Anyone else believe we went to Iraq for the right reasons but we went without a plan, or at least one that covered after we caught Saddam Hussein, and therefore screwed ourselves over?

It seems like it was going well, then we caught Saddam, handed him over, then every one just kind of went blank like 'ah... what do we do now?'.
