I am not sure where that number came from as I count 21 from the following source.

Countries like Australia, Korea, El Salvador, Poland have a hundred or so troops in Iraq because the US is paying for them.

I saw a Brit today in Baghdad. Here are a few: UK, Poland, Australia, South Korea, Georgia, Ukraine, El Salvador, Uganda. Those are the guys I remember seeing lately.

A majority of those 36 would be countries that are dependent on US foreign aid for their survival.
He was referring to countries that are supposedly aiding our mission in Iraq.
