There is a government pay scale that applies to everyone.

It has to do with your pay grade, and time in service.

You can easily find this on any government web site.

There is no difference in pay for different jobs in the Coast Guard, other than supplemental pay such as hazardous duty and separation pay. You also get a little extra for deployment out of the country.

One thing to keep in mind, everyone get's a place to live and 3 square meals a day, as well as health care. Figure that into the salary figures. It makes a difference. The salary looks like nothing, but you have no bills.

Why are you afraid of talking to a recruiter?
