After finding out recently that Maxine Carr is not only living under 24 hour police guard in a nice (free) house in my town, I am disgusted to discover that my tax payments are going towards the police guarding her while she also works here as well!
Why should I find this acceptable and why do the authorities think that this would not be offensive to people in the area?
I for one don't want her here but I would be interested to know what other people think?

its funny the laugh at him during the debates, but the jokes on them. they dont even realize how fake they all sound wit5h thier talking points. they better be careful if ron paul has a few debates like that he could become a real serious threat. im an independant and i have yet to see a candidate as attractive as ron paul in the entire race.

How many hours and pounds could have been saved over the years if we could cut to the chase a lot faster? It's proven to be pretty effective. Why doesn't it get used in questioning suspects? Is this considered an infringement on human rights - getting folk to tell the truth?

I would like your opinion as to this practice being done by U.S. authorities when it comes to “catching” child predators.
I have seen many episodes of the “investigate news” coverage ‘Dateline’ program where a deviant pervert (on behalf of the program) goes online to pose as an underage child to then “entice” the other pervert which is a moron pedophiliac.
My question is this; what does this do to weed out the real pedophiles on the internet?
Isn’t this entrapment, isn’t it obvious that a pedophile will go for a child?
Deep down inside I loathe these pedophiles as much as a loathe these pervs who go online attempting to entrap people left to right… I mean, how do we know these undercover idiots are not into illegal porn themselves?
Is this moral to the taxpayers is my actual question?
**NOTE, BEFORE SOME TROLLING IDIOT WHO’S PROBABLY INTO KID PORN THEMSELVES ASNWERS BY EVEN REMOTELY ACCUSING ME OF THE UNTHINKABLE, GO F YOURSELF YOU SICK IDIOT, GET A LIFE***

Thank you all.

The situation is: filing complaints for 2 years about various noisy neighbours in my apartment building. I have extreme high blood pressure and congestion to the point of throwing up constantly. I have gone to the management, police, legal, court, and even the security guard in the building. Nothing has been done. I can't move out until I can move about again. My next choice is to withhold rent until this noise issue is solved. So my question is, can I do it? And what situations can I withhold rent? I need to find it and print it out. Canada.

-make economy stronger
-nation more secure- take the gloves off on the fight against terrorists
-restore american prestige abroad.

I have yet to see a candidate taking a side. maybe too early in the process everyone wants to be neutral and play politics

.....We have no ACLU chapter here. Can the law even be challenged under The U.S. Constitution or any other State or Federal Statute?

Hell, I live in a "dry" county (no alcohol sales) and have to drive to a "wet" county 60 miles away just to buy beer. I work Monday through Saturday and Sunday is the only day off I have to make a "beer run". This seems to me like dicrimination. Everyone knows that the reason that sales are prohibited on Sunday is because that is what the "Prohibitionist Christians" that run this state want. Why else would there be no sales on Sunday. I could go to Texas and purchase 80 miles away. They allow sales between 12:00p.m.-7:00p.m. on Sundays. Still a blue law, just more lax. The big problem with that is that then I'm breaking the law transporting the beer across state lines. It's bad enough that I can't go to the local convenience store down the block. But I understand that this county is "dry". But that is 24/7, cut and dry, no discrimination there.

My ex husband will pick up our child for his visits, but when it's time to bring her back he calls and says he has no transportation. I have to find someone to go get my child from wherever he is!!

Shouldn't this be his responsibility?

Is this kidnapping if he won't bring my child back home after his hours are up?

What can I do?

I am supposed to have sole legal and sole physical custody. This is a recently entered order for a visitation schedule and my child isn't being returned unless I retrieve them!

Canada and England are moving away from their expensive HC systems that deliver substandard care to everyone, why are we even talking about bringing that mess here?

Recently a Canadian woman giving birth to quadtuplets had to be flown to Montana because Canada could not insure the saftey of those children, is this what you want here?

Montana isn't the first place I think of for advanced medical care but obviously it's better then anywhere in Canada.

I read an article in the OC Register comparing US to Canadian care, the OC has more MRI machines then all of Canada, how long do you think you will have to wait in Canada to get a simple MRI? Orange County is quite small compared to Canada and has a small fraction of the population of Canada, how can anybody think Canadians are better off then we are in the terms of Healthcare.

I don't mean to pick on Canada but facts are facts.

Do you really think being abstinent is realistic? My friend, who is a nurse, works in a Conservative community. She works with teenage girls in a treatment facility. She was telling me about how so many parents refuse to let their kids take the new HPV vaccine because it promotes sexual behavior. So instead of protecting their kids from HPV and cervical cancer, they rather keep them at risk. Don't Conservatives realize that being abstinent is unrealistic? It might be the right thing to do, but it most likely won't happen. Humans are sexual beings and eventually, especially during their teenage years, people will begin to explore sex. It's a nature thing. So why not use the resources to protect them? I really want to know the reasoning behind some of these unrealistic views.
Note: This has nothing to do with Liberals. Also, you don't have to agree with me to get the best answer.
