THE REAL GOAL of Forming Al-Quaeda was to kick out westernized system from Egypt, since it was a Muslim Country. The group was also formed to kick "British" Company out of Afghanistan during WWII. The real goal for them is still to get rid of British soldiers in Middle East, but as they say, who ever comes in their way, will face death. Unfortunatly, America has not understand that point yet.

Put it this way Mr. American, if some one storms your house in the middle of the night, are you gonna wait for COPS to arrive or save your family first? That's pretty much what happened in middle east.

Hope that cleared out some confusions.

Safe Flying!!!

To carry out Jihad against the "Jahili" world (the one full of decadence and vice) and help establish Dar-Al-Islam (the world under Islam) with a caliphate stretching from Spain to Indonesia. This would re-create the world of the "Salafa" (the ancient ones) who lived in such a world after the death of the Prophet. The source below is for the book they use as a guide. It is to Al Queda what "Men Kampf" was to the Nazis. It's only 160 pages long, but it is an eye-opener.

Osama bin Laden has mounted a successful propaganda campaign to make himself and his movement the primary symbols of Islamic resistance worldwide. His ideas now attract more followers than ever.

Bin Laden's goals remain the same, as does his basic strategy. He seeks to, as he puts it, "provoke and bait" the United States into "bleeding wars" throughout the Islamic world; he wants to bankrupt the country much as he helped bankrupt, he claims, the Soviet Union in Afghanistan in the 1980s. The demoralized "far enemy" would then go home, allowing al Qaeda to focus on destroying its "near enemies," Israel and the "corrupt" regimes of Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia. The U.S. occupation of Iraq helped move his plan along, and bin Laden has worked hard to turn it into a trap for Washington. Now he may be scheming to extend his strategy by exploiting or even triggering a war between the United States and Iran.

From what I used to be fed via TV and corporate controlled media (don't watch that anymore). It's FEAR MONGERING. We were told everything changed after 9/11. FALSE. The orders to invade Afghanistan were on GWB's desk 2days prior. Iraq had nothing to do w/ 9/11 or Al CIAeda. But some people believe that for whatever reasons they do, without looking in to the real story. But yes, the media, the govt. are constantly pushing us into a complete state of fear, so that we'll give up our liberties, our rights, and our guns for protection and martial law.

If I were any of you, I'd say HELL NO to all of this bull and demand change.

Al Queda was formed by foreign fighters inside Afghanistan who were Wahabbi Muslims protecting Muslim lands from the encroaching Soviet Secular power. The name means "the Base".

After the Soviets left, intercene strife prevailed. Even under Taliban direction, brought to power by the actions of Al Queda, could only extend its influence through the cities of Afghanistan.

Once the soviets left, Al Queda turned to the profitable profession of terrorisism against the west. They needed money, and rich arabs who profitied off of the west, needed to assuage their muslim guilt.

The real goal is to do what all of the Muslim groups have tried to do: convert people to Islam and see the entire world under Islamic law.

Of course, most of that law is out of date since it pretty much stopped developing in the 7th century. Probably the reason their primary weapon is people blowing themselves up.

Jihad on the West, anyone who is an infidel and other foreigners. Jihad includes fear, terror, damaging finances, converting to Islam, taking over land and buildings, real estate, until that political and social culture no longer exsists.

Good question. I think some low lifes weren't happy that the world wasn't revolving around them so they set out to make people miserable and pay attention to them.
