I bought a car from a local dealer. As usual he took copies of my DL etc. Few months later I met this wonderful person and we dated. For some crazy reason her ex-boyfriend got all worked up and wanted to knock me out. That i can live with. But he could not find where I lived but he came to know I bought a car from this dealer who happens to be his friend! One day he stops my girlfriend and shows her his information gathering skills with copies of my DL and other docs that he told her he got from the dealer friend. I am kind of shocked. Isn't that illegal?? Does anyone know what legal rights I have against the dealer? And this freako ex-boyfriend?

How come teenagers at age 18 are not allow to drink, but they are allow to join the military. You can't have it both ways, you allow people you consider, to immature to make a rational decision for one thing that could kill you, but you allow for another. Either they raise the age of consent to join the military to age 21 or lower the age of consent to drink to 18. Why would the United States have such an inconsistant and hypocritical law?

I asked a question about why women are not allowed to fight in all the positions of war that men are....I just did not know why...well, of course, some smart mouth man said "Go play with your dolls, war is a boys game"...Well, to him I will say: Anything men can do, women can also! But men cannot have children (not that you would want to). Also, women can get pregnant without a man nearby, we just need his sperm. LOL Some women are even stronger than some men! OK OK.... Did they know that the war was going to go on for this long before they even started to make the case for an Iraq war?

I will cite the video that recently surfaced on youtube of Dick Cheney in 1994 saying that invading Baghdad would have been a big mistake, and would take decades and tens of thousands of American life, and that it wouldn't be worth it.

Here's the headline from Yahoo homepage "Terror groups raise funds through drugs: DEA". From my point of view this is very typical PR from this federal agency, with the unstated but implied message that all illegal drug users are responsible for funding terrorism - that all illegal drug users must take personal responsibilty for terrorism. When (for instance) most marijuana consumed in the United States is produced inside the country (ok, who are the terrorists?). But the main question (proposal) here is that given that illegal, or recreational, drug use is practically impossible to eradicate, and the Taliban are funding themselves via opium production, shouldn't the US government take production, distribution, AND drug consuling and consumer protection into their own hands, and in this difficult but practical way, defund Columbian mafias and Afganistanian religio-fascists?

I don't understand what purpose handguns serve that nothing else could be used instead. Don't get me wrong, I completely understand people who feel the need to defend themselves, but if some guy tries to mug/rape you, I'd say you have better chances with mace than trying to pull a handgun out of your purse or side holster -- what if you miss? If some asshole breaks into your house, you have a much better chance of hitting him with a 12 gauge than a Colt 45. What about Virginia Tech? -- he bought his legally. And since you never hear of gang members toting around 30-06's, isn't it reasonable to assume gun violence would see a decline? Now, I'm not saying anything about banning rifles, because, I'll admit, I love to shoot -- I just don't see a need for handguns.

I mean, think about it, what purpose do they really serve?
You don't hunt with them. Hold on, let me rephrase that: you don't hunt animals with handguns -- you hunt people with handguns.

BTW , this is basically a spoon-fed question to allow the liberal democrats on here to admit that this was a bad idea . Who could the candidates have been attempting to impress ? Americans who cannot speak English ? Isn't it the immigrant's responsibility as a new American to learn the English language ? . .... Careful what you answer because any answer in defense of this must also include the acknowledgment that there are other non-English speaking immigrants .
