I read that article also. I guess cops in Union City GA don't have any crime or traffic issues. The girl admitted she did it, by mistake, and the manager tried to "thump off" the extra salt.
Just another example of "Cops Gone Wild".

That's just utterly outrageous! I come from ATL and I am just baffled by how that's a crime. Its just human error! Everyone screws up something when cooking at some point, and just oversalting a burger...

It was not over salting the Burger,it was the fact that the person did it on purpose and made the burger terrible on purpose because it was for a cop. The crime was tampering with food to be served in public.

The loophole is to have as many people as you want add the legal maximum of salting each time so you can have tons of salt
