What does it matter what language the debate is in, as long as transcripts are available in English? I see a bunch of people saying it is destroying our culture, but US culture is a mixed culture. That is where America derives it strength and our better way of life than is available in other countries that don't have such great diversity of culture and thought.
Anyone who thinks we are an English culture, better think again. Our founding fathers fought them for our freedom, and opposed any likeness in our government to English monarchs. If you want to stay on your knees to the thrown, America isn't the place to do it.

No. Spanish is the second most spoken language in our country. Honestly, I don't see why more people don't try and learn Spanish who don't speak it as a native language.

It's actually quite helpful, unless you're never going to go to other countries in your life. Then I guess you could just go live under a rock or something. :|

No,I think it should stay in English. If it were to go Spanish then french will follow then Arabic, etc.

Of course it should not be made illegal. The ones that want it heard in different languages can pay to have it translated for them.

YES! This is just wrong. This is why most of the damned Hispanics are not assimilating and learning English, because morons like the democrats cater to them!

What's next, a debate in Arabic?

I think if they just had the debate regular with spanish subtitles at the bottom, sounds good to me.
